What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

#7813

Last nights ramen with roast beef & duck, shiitake mushrooms and duck egg (and duck broth)

(Diane) #7814

@x-Dena-x. Any time. Any time. The bacon made it a little saltier than I like it (and that’s very unusual for me). However, it’ll need to be another day cause I ate all 6 pieces and that’s a first. The most I’ve ever been able to manage before was 3.

DUCK! The most underrated meat on earth

(Jane) #7817

Curry chicken with zoodles cooked in ghee with onion and garlic. Garden radishes tossed with olive oil and herbs from my garden (thyme, rosemary) and roasted.

Was all good!

(Allie) #7823

I had planned a fasting day today but just wasn’t feeling like it when I got up, so eggs, homemade yoghurt, and a fatty coffee it was.

#7824

650g Bone in ribeye, roasted artichokes, rosemary & garlic hollandaise sauce and chilli & lime prawns

(Steaks b4 cakes! đŸ„©đŸ„‚) #7825

Lunch today was a nice big bit of salmon, olives, avocado, prosciutto and mayo

followed by a cuppa tea and some chocolate! (Obviously!)

(Jody) #7826

I totally understand that.

I would be a perfect replacement for Andrew Zimmern as I love to try different and “weird” things. My thought is, I didn’t know I liked Bacon until I tried it
so how do I know that XXX isn’t really good?

(Jody) #7827

I do too. I also like duck, so I bought a whole duck and will cook that up on the grill later this week. This is the start of my <2nd round> of Carnivore so I will need the meats!

(Karen) #7828

Homemade. After I cooked and removed the chicken I put in garlic, green onions, lots of mushrooms, basil, salt and pepper, butter,A few diced fresh tomatoes and sautéed. When the mushrooms were soft, I added 4 ounces of heavy whipping cream, and 2 ounces-ish of Grated Parmesan. And allowed it to thicken. I then added my salted rinsed and drained zucchini noodles. I cooked a little longer and served it topped with the chicken pieces.
Yum!!

Great seer on those scallops, @Ernest

Totally sweatin’ your flat top.

#7830

Scrambled eggs cooked in butter & avocado under a heavy sprinkle of sea salt & dill drizzled with 1/2 tbspn of MCT oil (trying this for first time this week just to see if I feel any better). Lots of water this morning to quench actual thirst and a couple ginger capsules (definitely helps my energy level).

(Diane) #7831

Brunch is bacon & egg salad on the last of my coconut flour fathead bagels, 1/2 avocado and leftover pizza (yes, thought I was going to eat that last piece yesterday, but suddenly felt full and saved it for today).

(Khara) #7832

Sounds really good. Thanks for the recipe!
