I reckon this has to be a double yolk…
What did you Keto today? Part Deux!
Eggs look really large in your I’m guessing tiny hands. I’m kind of jealous of you keeping hens. If I did that here it would be constant war with raccoons.
@Shortstuff I was just about to say, either you have the tiniest hands, or that’s a really huge egg.
Maybe a triple yolk, even!
Either you have small hands or that’s from an ostrich and you’re trying to kid us.
Today I made very first pork belly. It turned out so tasty! My husband stood up and applauded, when he finished eating lol
It’s a HUGE egg. Maud has only been laying for four days and she’s had two this size, one that was trampled and broken, and yesterday’s was a soft shell. Seems she just lays massive eggs. I’ve not used any of hers yet but will find out if they’re doubles soon enough.
Had to head out for a site meeting on a Flood Control project with the Feds today, so did a mid-day meal on the run… First stop, Pepperoni & Cheese, Pork Rinds & a Coconut Bai. Then down the road picked up a Double Baconator with Lettuce, Tomato and Mustard. Bun went to the birds of course.
Well, normally don’t mind asking for a bunless burger, but when the cashier seems to be having a hard time dealing with why I only wanted the sandwich and not the whole meal, I didn’t want to push my luck requesting it without the bun and decided this would be best. The only thing she had to do, which I also requested twice before she got it right, was for no Ketchup. Multi-tasking didn’t seem like a strong point with this one.
Our doubles are often big but usually also really long. I always wonder about the hen. Is it dangerous for them to be laying such large eggs? We get excited about double yolks but I do worry about the hen.
Duck, duck gravy, Tabasco onions, duck egg, and foie gras.
Soft boiled egg, trout roe, bacon, roasted garlic, smoky maple mayonnaise sauce.
Pork and eel terrine, giardiniera, avocado, unagi sauce, miso mustard. (Didn’t eat the bread)
Fois gras is soooooo mean!!! Never, ever, watch how it’s made.
