What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

Last nights meal was pretty much the opposite … heavy fat and lighter protein.

Mowed so I didn’t really feel like doing much for dinner so before I mowed, I had some [Sprouted] pumpkin seeds, 2 meat sticks and 2 string cheese. Then after my shower, I had a pack of Nui PB cookies w/ some natural PB spread on them.

(sorry, no pics)

I live in rural, but raised in burbs…I never realized how playful calves could be, my kid’s have friends on farms and one family in particular has one of every farm animal for FFA and their calf was the most animated of all the other animals. I saw him chasing a cat. I always just thought cows just stood still. I feel lucky to live in a rural area and be closer to where my food comes from. I can go to the farm where my beef is being raised, get what I want from the butcher and my kids understand the entire cycle.

My teenage son also works on a farm and while I hate how dirty he comes home, it’s been good hard work and he’s becoming a great hardworking kid!

Maybe a bit more time on it and she will start to see some results?
What my mum needs is a good kick up the arse! :joy: I love her to pieces but omg it’s so frustrating knowing she could be doing better for herself! :exploding_head:

Or hopefully NOT… You’re sorting out your health before it snowballs into problems later, preventative medicine is the best medicine and that means eating well which you’re both doing. Congratulations :tada::champagne::cowboy_hat_face:

It tastes fishy!? :joy: is this normal?!

(Steaks b4 cakes! 🥩🥂) #7339

You have a very good point there @David_Stilley :+1:I do like to think that all the things we are doing now will reduce the effects of aging as we get older

I love calving season, looking in the field watching them puts a smile on my face. Always frolicing around. My oldest daughter shows beef, she lays in the field with them, reads to them, rides them. Last month she actually slept in barn because her favorite cow was having her first calf and she wanted to be there, I found her asleep in the trough.

this is one day before we were hauling them

Lunch with a friend at my favourite bisto. Smoked salmon salad! Americano and cream for dessert! 2 hour natter, fab day off!
Sorry looks a bit blurred! Was obviously in a hurry to get stuck in!

Mine tastes green, sweet, with a touch of grassy… fishy I haven’t encountered :grimacing:

#7344

Oh, she’s gonna love that you shared that!

#7345

Shes 15… she loves nothing I say or do. Lol

(Jody) #7346

That looks really good

Oh, good! It’s a universal phenomenon.

BACON IS BACK!

Yes! And a lucky double yolk on top of it.

:game_die::game_die: :cowboy_hat_face:

(Khara) #7349

Gotta love those double yolks. We go through periods where most of a dozen are doubles. Crazy. It’s a little bit of a game here to see who can guess the double.

(traci simpson) #7350

It was. I tried that Keto bread. It wasn’t bad but it needs to be toasted in order for me to eat it.

(Jody) #7351

Was it the Fox Valley brand? That’s what I tried recently, I KEPT trying to like it, but ended up tossing. I think it was texture, lack of flavor, no matter how much butter I put on it, just didn’t love it.
