Iām afraid to eat that much protein. There is so much controversy over too much vs too little. UGH!
I flip it up ⦠I donāt always eat that much.
Having said that, I am not too worried about TOO much protein and I think sometimes shaking things up a little helps

Actually itās one of those āDonāt really feel like or have time to cook todayā things. Bought a tray of Italian Sausages, these happened to be turkey which I usually donāt get but Iām trying to cut back on fat,
(I can hear the gasps coming over the matrix) because I am trying to burn my own!
SautƩ with olive oil, add a little marinara thinned down a little, cover and let it cook about 10 minutes on low. Sliced half of them and divided the sauce putting them in a small baking dish, cover with cheese, bake 12 minutes and enjoy.
I always forget how good it is and wonder why I donāt make them more! The answer isā¦my kitchen is a greasy mess after!

In the words of Chuck D, āDonāt believe the hypeā. The evidence is thin on the āexcess protein turns into glucoseā rap. Check out Dr. Bikman for another view that many of us believe. The conversion of protein to glucose is likely need driven, not automatic.
It really looks so good! I enjoy every one of those ingredients and put together, even better! Italian Sausage isnāt easily sourced in the UK (at least not in my supermarket), I wonder if I could season sausage meat with fennel and herbs to make something similar. Thank you for the directions, Iām going to give it a go next week
Lots of Italian Sausage recipes on the net, just buy ground pork and mix with spices.
Prefect, thank you! A friend once made me Italian Wedding Soup with, wait for it, Italian sausage⦠it was so so tasty! I honestly dreamed about that soup for a couple of weeks afterwards!
