That doesn’t say they cook the egg in real butter it says they place butter on the McMuffin. “Topped with real butter” not cooked in real butter

You’re looking at the mobile version, which might be different. On my end, all of the ingredients are listed. Nowhere does it mention veg oil. The salted butter it what is on the bread, the egg is cooked in clarified butter.
Yea you are right , I just sourced a website form CNBC saying they made the changes recently , well that is good to know but, I still don’t trust them haha!
All burgers, sausages eggs are cooked on the griddle with butter etc, they do still use veg oil for all other nuggets fries, all crap I don’t get! I will get their stuff once in awhile but it’s really a hell of a lot healthier than it used to be!
Plus I just posted a picture of the peeps Dunkin’ Donuts I bought for my kids, so I should probably just shut up about all fast food being evil hahaha
Not really. They used to fry their fries in lard until “public pressure” made them change.
I just mean in regards to them frying eggs in vegetable oil: I wish we would revert back to when everyone used lard and things. Back when people weren’t afraid of fat and would use it for a lot of things.
Yea I hear lard is really good never researched it much to verify but, now a days Information is always so skewed. It’s hard to find facts anymore because one side says here’s the facts and the other side says no here’s the facts and both sides debunk each other.
I’m assuming everyone in here probably does fast food keto when they are desperate. I have gotten the Dunkin’ Donuts big and toasted with no toast when I’m desperate, but as a whole I think we all agree eating out is never technically healthy.
You might check out Nina Teicholz’ book The Big Fat Surprise. It leaves you with little room for doubt about which fats are good and bad. She also has several YouTube videos of presentations she’s given at various conferences. She’s very impressive!
FYI, I like beef tallow for most deep fat frying. I use bacon grease, olive & avocado oils and butter for most pan frying.
In over 10 months I’ve been Keto, I’ve been to McDonald’s maybe 3 times? And just got a few McDoubles, and removed the bun. And think I’ve been to Wendy’s twice? Baconator with no Bun. … But yes, I prefer to not go to any of them. (Didn’t like even before Keto)
Actually didn’t want to be at work, so left half a day, after wrapping up a project I wanted to get done. … So picked up some Bacon, Knockwurst, Pork Chops (For the Wife) and Country Sausage. So she made me something to eat when I got home. … Might just make it an OMAD for the day?
Knockwurst, Bacon and some Eggs. … Also had 3 Brazil Nuts, 2 Squares Lindt’s 90% and a Strawberry.
Edit: to add the Halo Ice Cream the wife made afterwards. (First time having it since early Feb?)
Black Cherry, Mint Chip, Cookies & Cream and Sea Salt Caramel - Small scoops of each
I agree, one of my favorites. My wife said thanks too. She usually doctor’s up my plates when she makes me a meal, and has been trying to get the Eggs just right. - Any that break, etc. the Pups get, since they get their own anyway, so we just add it to theirs. … It’s also one of the reasons I usually do OMAD. Not much else is needed for the day.
I do the same … when I cook eggs, if they break or get otherwise “messed up” … they go to the dogs. (who get their own almost daily as well)
Yep, we’ve always made them their own whenever we have some ourselves. They also get their own Thanksgiving plate, Christmas dinner, etc. Spoiled little shits.
