What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

(Steaks b4 cakes! 🥩🥂) #6046

180°c

#6047

Ooh! Nope, I haven’t been there but looks good. I’m already eyeing up the BBQ plate. Might be good for a team lunch in the near future!

(Natasha) #6048

Gouda ‘chips’ with salt and vinegar seasoning!

(Little Miss Scare-All) #6049

Trade that out for corned beef and that’s a winner. Love Reubens :black_heart:

#6050

SALT AND VINEGAR SEASONING !!! Knowing this exists now just increased my quality of life, lol

#6051

Looks tasty. I’m drooling over that creamed spinach!

#6052

LOL!

#6053

Haven’t had RoRo; maybe I’ll try it next time I’m up that way. I’m a fan of Jack’s, which now has a couple branches downtown (SLU and Columbia Tower) in addition to the Georgetown original. They use a no-sugar rub and then smoke it slow. BBQ sauce is optional–it’s on the table in bottles. They also cater, so consider that for your next office lunch instead of a bunch of sandwich platters. I’ve also been at the G’town location for team lunch (dozen people or so). I haven’t been to the other locations.

#6054

Can vouch for Jack’s. It’s amazing, I can get through so much brisket in that place.

(Karen) #6055

I can never buy cashews ever again! They are kryptonite and chock full of carbs!

:joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy::unamused:

#6056

I am witn you, I can’t have cashews nearby without wanting to chomp them down, when I discovered the dill flavored ones at a gas station years ago I was up 5lbs in 2 days lol!

#6057

Fried tilapia and zucchini. Nice and spicy

(Full Metal KETO AF) #6058

So I know I ranted about eating out earlier today, but I had a gift card for
:hot_pepper: Chili’s :hot_pepper: and I decided to finish it off.

6oz Sirloin w/ Double Broccoli and a Side Salad with Bleu, Diet Coke $10 special

The Steak wasn’t on the menu but it’s on the internet and for an unspecified period of time. Got the steak rare and it was tender and delicious. :yum:

I forgot and ate most of it before I did the photo! :cowboy_hat_face:

(Christy) #6059

Grab a plate & let me know what you think! I have been in the Seattle area a little over 5 years & it’s the best I’ve found so far … being from TX, I am a bit of a BBQ snob. The meat on it’s own is excellent, no sauce needed!

@ZuleikaD I had to ask my husband about Jack’s, as he is a native. He says he likes it, but it doesn’t compare to RoRo’s. Also, we rarely venture deep into Seattle unless absolutely necessary. My last project in South Lake Union ended Apr. 18’ & we’ve only been back twice since lol.

(Diane) #6060

I recommend you never try Trader Joe’s Thai Lime & Chili Cashews. They are dangerous!

(Troy) #6061

So true!!
In my SAD days, my office drawer was stocked w those and the coconut ones😄
In fact, before I left there. I had about 10 bags of different Trader Joe’s brand seeds and nuts

(Little Miss Scare-All) #6062

Little post gym fat/protein recovery: kale, peppers and eggs. Also ripped some skin off a rotisserie chicken n put that in here, too.

Don’t be jellies about my really fancy Royal Doulton:

#6063

Well I had eggs, but they didn’t look nearly as good as this!

China was about the same, though.

#6064

Dinner tonight… Strawberries and Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate, Cauliflower in Butter, Slow Roasted Roast with Radish-Taters & Onions, Deviled Eggs, Olives, Pickles and Cheddar Cheese.

(Christy) #6065

Garlic ginger chicken tenders over wasabi creamed spinach, & of course, a salad with tomatoes & vinaigrette.

The wasabi cream could have been way hotter but, my husband is a wiener
