Next time order the big and toasted from dunkin with no bread…desperate times call for desperate measures. Lol
What did you Keto today? Part Deux!
This was our go-to lunch for the first 8 months on keto. We even bought the pouches of flavored tuna to mix it up.
I guess we got a bit burned out on it as we haven’t done that in a while. Maybe this summer when we have our own garden lettuce and radishes.
@Acnickel What’s the stuff that looks like breakfast cereal?
Breakfast, lunch & dinner. I’m not really hungry after my fast but, I suppose I’ll pick at some food
Haven’t had Vienna sausage since I was a kid! And back then, I liked them cut up in Kraft Mac and Cheese.
Same! I haven’t had them in 20+ years but I saw another member mention them & it was nostalgic, so I grabbed a couple cans the last time I shopped… They’re not nearly as good as an adult lol The remaining can will remain
Keto everything bagels (and a couple of bialies for sandwiches). Can’t wait to slather these up with some cream cheese or butter.
That might be the little cheese croutons I got the other day, They taste pretty good, add a good salty crunch to it. They are crispier than the cheese crisps I make
Vienna Sausages have always been in our house, for a far back as I can remember. (You can probably count on one hand the amount of times we didn’t have any at any one time. … I’ve eaten them since I was a kid, and would actually prefer them over most other stuff. Simple sandwich with Mustard.
Nowadays, though I do still eat them on occasion, they are used way more often for the Pup’s as treats. They absolutely love them, and the sound of the lid being removed is like a Food Alarm.
Along with Vienna’s, a similar product I used to eat all the time growing up, is Potted Meat. I just started eating this again some months back, and it is now a favorite for dipping my Pork Rinds in.
I can never find Broccoli Raab here in central California if you can believe that, they grow everything here. It looks good.
That is too bad! I love it so much I like el-dante though.
They go together quite well. … And both show as 0 Carb, so Win/Win and delicious.
I bet they do!!! I’ll save my last can for the next time our friends with dogs visit!
I have never tried potted meat … for some reason even the thought alone makes me queasy lol Same with Spam
Ps. We have those plates too
@juice recipe for sous vide eggs on a slice of mug bread browned in butter in a skillet, topped with a slice of havarti (put under broiler to melt), bacon, egg and hollandaise sauce. I had one, husband had two.
@christylaine OK… It’s against the rules of the “What did you keto today” thread to post a drool worthy Bacon Wrapped Anything and not telling us what’s inside.
