Chicken Skins.
Season any way you like, cook over indirect heat on the BBQ until really crunchy

Breakfast sandwich

This ended up being dinner tonight …courgettes, mince and crispy kale with ghee on the top. I wanted to wrap chicken breasts in parma ham for dinner, I got the parma ham and discovered I didn’t have chicken! :joy: I’ll try again tomorrow!

Salad, followed by Salmon, Deviled Eggs, Caul-Egg Salad and fried Zucchini. … Also ate some more Zucchini after clearing the plate. … Pickles and Olives on a side, not shown.

NOT A PROBLEM!!! Yeah, I’ve been doing this for a while now, and it works FANTASTIC!

But just watch it, you can overdo it by putting too many. Believe me, a couple times now ‘Pork Rinds’ stopped being just my Croutons replacement, and instead became my ‘Captain Crunch’ replacement. Meaning there were so many in my Salad, the roof of my mouth was raw when I was done, like the old Captain Crunch used to do when you ate it too dry. (If you’re familiar with this downside that is.)

I grew up in the 90’s. I got you

Buffalo chicken flatbread pizza it was!!

(Candy Lind) #5454

   :joy: I’m saving that one.

The grill came out this weekend. Tri-tip and Italian beef.

Same with me for a lot of stuff, one example being BBQ sauce. I use a combination of G Hughes and Walden Farms (which cuts the carbs from 2 to 1 per 2-T serving). I used to have my meat swimming in sugar-laden sauce, and now 2T of the sugar-free stuff usually does it for a big pile of brisket & sausage. Or a little sprinkle of Worcestershire on my steak and ‘shrooms.

WHERE?

My OMAD. Collard green wrap burritos. The meat was some kind of picante pre-seasoned beef roast from ALDI, which I slow cooked. Absolutely delicious. The meat had the flavor of steak. Homemade guacamole.

This is reminiscent of Rusty’s meals!

(Doug) #5461

Indeed, Nin - I frequently hoist up a pepper to the old boy.

(Khara) #5462

Washington state. Not a chain restaurant, sorry . Just a little mom and pop business.
I’ve been analyzing it to try and recreate it. The bacon was sooo crispy and yet a nice thick bacon. I’m thinking broiler.? I’ll need to play around with it! :bacon::bacon::bacon::bacon:

What did I miss? I’ve been gone a while and this food topic is so long I couldn’t/didn’t catch up with it all. I remember his meals. Same thing every time, slab o’ meat and pile o’ peppers.

I knew today was gonna be a demanding day at work so I loaded my lunch bag up tuna and mayo, a very ripe avocado, left over pepperoni chips and a slice of keto bread and ghee. Days like today I need to be super fat fuelled!!

I also had a cuppa tea with some Montezuma’s chocolate too :yum:
