I use it to cook almost everything and still it accumulates. I have to put effort into using other fats because I actually have to buy them. I need to mix it up more, use coconut, butter, evo and avocado more. But then I would have to start throwing out some bacon grease or start making bacon soap!
Tri Tip Sirloin (on sale) sous vide at 135F for 4 hours. It tastes like Prime Rib, only better!
And some bread cheese fries in ghee. (Already ate over half the cheese before I remembered to snap a pic)
Close enough. I ended up putting our local city into an official declaration of emergency, with everyone showing up at my house in hazmat suits. It looked like that scene from E.T.

Had a wee bit of Steak tonight. Top Sirloin Sous Vide 8 or 9 hrs. and seared in a skillet. Also Deviled Eggs with Thousand Island Dressing and Taco Seasoning, Butter Fried Mushrooms and a bit of Pimento Cheese. … Also some Pickles and Olives on the side. Some regular, and some Feta-Stuffed ones, Broccoli with Cheese and Butter. - 2 Squares 90% Lindt’s Dark Chocolate, 3 Brazil Nuts
I did share about 1/5 of the Steak with my Pups.
Eggs with mushrooms, veggie bacon, and cheddar with a side of pecans for lunch.
Beyond meat bratwurst (2 carbs a piece) with sautéed cabbage with veggie bacon and cheddar. A baby Bell cheese for a garnish.
Whipped cream flavored with vanilla and some freeze dried strawberries crushed into a powder and one finely chopped strawberry and a teaspoon of Lily’s chocolate chips for dessert

I needed something that said, “it was worth going outside in the snow almost all day sledding, shoveling, and walking the dogs” – a ribeye, gorgeous as they are, wasn’t going to cut it because it ends up the main player in one of my meals far too often. Not a bad thing, just isn’t “special” any more. Lamb plays that role now.

Post workout 4 egg omelette lunch… I used parmesan cheese mixed in with the eggs pre fry… Super delish!
Doing some food preps this morning and the Wife started by baking up 5 lbs. of Bacon.
And cooling down the Bacon grease before storing…
