Pizza and wings night. No pics of the wings sadly. Pizzas are pepperoni and cheesesteak
What did you Keto today? Part Deux!
So I am hanging out on the food porn thread during my fasting day and I see this question. I have been thinking about asking people how they deal with sugar in bacon, sausage and ham. All three of which I love. My husband calls me the sugar nazi because I won’t buy them with any type of sugar. I go to Whole Foods or a local butcher( both more money than I want to pay)and get the kind without or just don’t buy it. So what does everybody else do?
Ps let hubs do as he pleases but I won’t eat it
My Wally is small and kinda sucky. Maybe I need to pay a visit to the one in the next town over!
I read this totally the wrong way wondering why you were commenting on your Wally
I don’t worry about it if it’s 1-2 carbs per serving. Bacon has sugar but it’s <1gram per serving and ham is usually 2grams per serving. If it’s above 2grams then I continue looking!
Taking a tea break here on the east coast of USA.
I have heard teens refer to it as a wally so then you were visiting one in the next town made it even funnier read that way
LOL.
I read where people put it under their tongue but I like crunching them when I’m fasting. I miss eating and this helps.
After feeling miserable back at work the past two days, decided to take some more time off… So decided to eat something after resting up this morning. - Wife made me Broccoli & Cauliflower Soup with Bacon, and also 2 Hot Smoked un-cured Sausage. Hoping it would help with the stuffy head.
And yep, that’s normally my Salad bowl, which is about the same size of the plates. So my Salad’s are generally decent sized.
Thanks. It was quite good. … We’ve been adding Mozzarella Cheese to help with the thickening, which works great.
You can buy it pre-done at Walmart.
If I do it manually (which I do a lot), it requires a lot of time, a SHARP knife, and a steady hand
Thanks! Looks like I need to work on my knife skills!
@Ruina You can use a mandolin too. I like the Benriner, wide or regular version. I have had a regular Benriner for 30 years and I use it a lot. Still razor sharp (careful!). I just bought a spiralizer this morning, making zucchini spaghetti later today.
Haha, I have a ban on mandolins in my house after my wife managed to slice a finger over the years four times with three different mandolins. Each time was very dramatic and bloody. She’s never watched or read Captain Corelli’s Mandolin either, so I suspect she really hates them.
