Eggs, bacon and almond flour french toast with maple butter. The french toast were ehhh…won’t be making them again.
What did you Keto today? Part Deux!
You should be able to find them at most grocery stores. I know WalMart and Fry’s have them. They’re stocked with the canned tomatoes.
No pic (already eaten ), but lunch today was homemade chicken salad w/chopped celery and pecans, on a bed of Romaine with cucumber, black olives, and a few grape tomatoes. Dressing was a mix of olive oil/red wine vinegar/dried Italian seasoning.
Also had a small wedge of Brie and a few plump blackberries.
I’m probably at a point in my Keto journey that i COULD stop drowning my salads in fatty ranch…but I’m probably not going to
It ain’t always magazine worthy. Sometimes it’s just a bowl of tomato sauce, meatballs and a mess of cheese…lol
I felt the need for protein last night so defrosted and cooked a couple of lamb leg steaks
Just one of my own recipe keto shakes today and the second half of the egg / cheese / mayo thing posted above that I didn’t finish yesterday
I was shocked & pleased to see chicken feet in mine yesterday - at 1/4 the price I pay at the farmer’s market! More bone broth on the horizon…
Tomatoes with green chiles. You may find them with Mexican Food or international foods if they are not by the canned tomatoes.
Whoops, saw this after. Darren, if you don’t want the carbage & additives in Velveeta (it’s not so much that I don’t indulge occasionally), make queso with sodium citrate and use the rotels for the liquid to dissolve it in. You can really crank up the flavor with whatever is your favorite cheese.
My OMAD is an omelette with Kerrygold Blarney Castle cheese, mushrooms & olives, with a side of peppered bacon. I’ll probably finish off the pickles & olives I didn’t eat at my last meal yesterday, too. I’ll go back for a salad if this doesn’t finish me off.
I need to take your approach. I always seem eat my veggies (carbs) first. I should eat my protein and then carbs with fat.
I buy chicken feet weekly for my dog as he loves to eat them frozen and I’m hoping they help his joints too. Never thought of using them myself but I think my dog would object
That chocolate peanut butter mug cake looks absolutely divine… recipe, pleeeasseeee…
