Beef with Chilli Brocccolini & Parmesan/Pine Nut Salad. #KetoKillsYouDead

(Running from stupidity) #2823

The perfect break-fast awaits your devourestation. Two chicken sausages - one garlic, one chickeny - sit alongside twice-cooked pulled brisket, gently fried in house-made ghee until brown and crispy, before being dressed with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream. Finishing the dish off is a serving of creamy cauliflower puree.

Steak, a nice fatty piece of sirloin as that’s all that was on the shelf when I bought it, two organic eggs - both cooked in ghee, and a random piece of mild cheddar cheese just because I felt like it. No mayo today. That’s weird.

Bacon & 3 cheese salad.

#2827

6.2 mile fasted birthday run followed by this breakfast of champions…5 eggs (cage free/organic), 10 slices of no sugar, uncured bacon and a medium avocado (last one and it was starting to get a little too ripe).

Used a tbsp of kerrygold and a touch of everything but the bagel seasoning along with some pink salt and fresh ground Malabar black pepper.

Happy Saturday everyone!

GF, our kids, her sister / parents and I came down to Ocean City (MD) for New Years weekend. On the way down, kids wanted to stop at IHOP. Got a spicy poblano omelette :ok_hand:t4:

(Karen) #2829

Both IHOP and Village Inn are very accommodating. And breakfast food is frequently Keto. Looks yummy!

(Lazy, Dirty Keto 😝) #2830

It was yummy! Except when I took a bite of a pepper with the seeds in it and my mouth was on fire :joy:

I know the Eastern Shore is a draw for a lot of thing, OC in general. But never thought of it as a destination for New Years. Hope it’s not too busy, as it usually is with most other things.

Still testing the stomach out this morning… Still feeling a little tight, though the soreness has seemed to have lightened up some? … And plans to go to TRH looks to be cancelled for tonight. So just some breakfast here.

1/2 dozen fried Eggs, Bacon and Country Sausage…

(Lazy, Dirty Keto 😝) #2832

It’s actually pretty quiet here, thank goodness. Her parents own a condo here and we just wanted a break from the norm

And sorry you’re not feeling 100% yet!

(Jane) #2833

That looks yummy! I hope you asked for cracked eggs because at one time their omelette egg mix had pancake batter in it. Don’t know if they still do that or not.

(Heather Meyer) #2834

mmm… the parmesean pine nut salad sounds delicious!

(Heather Meyer) #2835

Im a little confuzzled about your carb count. It says 2 carbs for that but an avocado has 4 and then there are eggs which have 1 carb per… so that would be 9 carbs on the plate no?
Not being a keto police… just trying to understand your tracker??

(Jane) #2836

Made up some more of @JustPeachy pickled mustard eggs that were so good. I only make 6 at a time so have to cut the recipe down by 1/4.

And cooked 3 more eggs to make some egg salad. I love the looks of @Shortstuff turmeric mayo that I added it to my homemade mayo in my egg salad. This will look a lot better on a plate than this plastic bowl, but the flavors need to meld in the fridge for a few hours first.

(Lazy, Dirty Keto 😝) #2837

Oh no  I had no idea :woman_facepalming:t4: noted for future reference

Also that egg salad looks delish :yum:

#2838

It is :slightly_smiling_face: It’s a quick & easy way to liven things up.

(Jane) #2839

Sous vide boneless lamb for 24 hrs at 133 F. Then sautéed some dried rosemary and mustard seeds in some ghee and poured over after browning the lamb at 450 F in the oven, post sous vide. Reduced the juices and poured that over also. It was fork tender and yummy!

Sugar snap peas broiled for 5 minutes then tossed with an Asian/sesame seed sauce. Also very good!

#2840

That looks very good indeed
