The wife’s getting ready to cook up some Bacon, Sausage and Eggs for a mid-day meal. Also have a couple hamburgers left over from their dinner last night we might throw into the mix. I didn’t eat with them, not being hungry, and may not be eating tonight since we have plans to visit some neighbor’s place as we do each year.

Went out to fancy dinner! I got Thai style steak salad. The salad included pineapple, but they were great about leaving it out. That kind of customer service is rare here!

Plate of snails with obscene amount or garlic-parsley butter. Yes l licked the plate :wink:
Fois gras (fruit just for a décoration).
Champagne and dry red wine helps…

I got so stuffed with only this that that l passed on other dishes ( quite keto friendly “bigos” , plate of cheeses and dark chocolate and roasted selection of nuts for dessert).

The miracle of keeping keto for Christmas :blush:

Well, wasn’t going to eat tonight. Had a mid-day meal, but after not going over the neighbor’s place (Stuffy head) when the wife came back, we decided to throw together a make-shift meal to rid some stuff…

We made some Shrimp Salad, Quick, Mini-Tuna Melts. (Just Provolone slices with Oregano, w/ Tuna Fish and Cheddar Cheese then baked 12 minutes or so.) Some Deviled Eggs, Sausage Links and Bacon from this morning, and some Pickles and Olives. … Also 2 Squares Lindt’s 90%.

Three out of four of my children were here. And their spouses or sweeties. Seafood chowder, salad, homemade yeast raised rolls, lots of cookies.

Having a make room in the fridge kind-of midday meal. Actually just some stuff we didn’t finish or make yesterday. Except the Cauli-Egg Salad the wife just finished making. (Taste-testing :slight_smile: ) … Then ate 4 or 5 Sausage Links, few pieces of Bacon and about 1/2 cup of Salted Peanuts. (Not shown) … Lastly, a piece of Baked Salmon with Butter. - Turkey Breast heading into the Rotisserie, Deviled Eggs done, and I’m about to try something different/new. Hoping it comes out ok, but I’m going to try and make some Radish-Au-Gratin.

Scrapped the prime rib plan because my daughter wanted a roast chicken and brussel sprouts for Christmas dinner. Prime rib would have been better :joy:

All the wrong stuff.
Potatoes, parsnips, stuffing, Christmas pudding, Christmas cake and now I remember why I gave it all up gladly!
My guts are not happy and neither is anyone else as a result.

Sous vide beef tenderloin with daikon “noodles” in a creamy tomato basil pepperoni sauce. With aged Havarti on top.

Just got the sous vide as a present today. So amazing!
