What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

Keeping it simple today with a taco bowl

(Running from stupidity) #2682

They’re low-carb.

(Karen) #2683

Just went to the store and bought pickles and olives. I’m either pregnant or turning into digital Dave. Every time I look at those pictures I want cheese olives and pickles.

#2684

I totally blame Dave for my recent olive bender  That & the fact that feta stuffed olives are just plain delicious & an excellent way to keep sodium levels up.

:yum: Simple yes, but looks very good indeed. — I was just thinking about doing similar myself the other day, but haven’t yet. … Taco’s (and Enchilada’s) have always been one of my favorites. So I really like making a nice Taco Salad or similar these days. When not making actual Taco’s using the Cheese Taco Shells.

But I definitely have it down on my mental-menu for this week.

@Keto6468 @anon54735292 … :flushed: What I do? … They are good though.

I haven’t tried the cheese taco shells yet! I do want to try them soon though. Taco bowls are good, but just not the same as a shell :yum:

Wife made keto meat balls. 6 lbs. We are freezing 28 of them, ate 8 among 4 of us and there are two for someone tomorrow. I’m doing OMAD tomorrow at a party so I won’t get them. I had to cook pasta for my youngest and I was like, I hope she likes the doneness because I’m refuse to eat this carbage to even try it out.

I did make tapenade for the party tomorrow and will reverse sear (hickory/pecan smoke) two london broils in the morning for the party also. My strategy is to bring food I can and want to eat.

True party food. Does anyone remember the results of the Carnovember with the 2KetoDudes. I don’t remember whether they had improved health or weight loss or anything. There’s a challenge out on the forum to do ZC for January. I’m thinking of it. @Richard ? What were the rewards?

(Hyperbole- best thing in the universe!) #2690

Nice! I also bring things I want to eat to parties. Last time I was asked to bring a veg dish, so I brought a shredded cabbage salad with bacon crumbled on. It worked great as a salad for everyone and as a pasta substitute for me.

(Running from stupidity) #2691

A substantial and filling breakfast with a hint of mortgage payment - a house-made hashbrown and fresh avocado join bacon and sour cream to give you a breakfast that will fill you up for the rest of the day.

Unless you want a second one, of course.

(Sophie) #2692

I’ve been doing this for years, and anyone that doesn’t like it can take a hike. I’m too old and been low carb for too long to give a shit about what the masses think of me anymore.

(Running from stupidity) #2693

Heh, I didn’t need those reasons…

#2694

Cheddar/Spinach/Tomato Quiche with Parmesan/Ham Salad

(Running from stupidity) #2695

The beauty and creaminess of sous vide eggs, the crispiness and saltiness of locally-sourced bacon, the spiciness of market salami and cabanossi, the sour of dill pickles. This plate covers the gamut, you can’t resist it. Go on, try.

See, you’re eating it already!

(Allie) #2696

Halloumi fried in ghee, Aberdeen Angus and black pepper chipolatas, turmeric mayo.

Already started before I remembered to take a pic :joy:

(Running from stupidity) #2697

The Pickle Dave meat platter. Sopressa, salami, cabanossi, bacon, ham, corned beef, pickles, pickled beef, avocado. Heaven on a plate.

(Joanna) #2698

My favorite bagel substitute. Trader Joe’s gluten free Norwegian crispbread + thick layer of cream cheese + TJs everything but the bagel sesame seasoning blend.

(Jane) #2699

Sous vide breakfast

Eggs at 164 F for 15 minutes and leftover sous vide roast with garlic-basil butter on top.

(Karen) #2700

Just jumped up to make breakfast that looked so good!
