I tried cauliflower rice sushi. It… was a learning experience. Used grocery store nori and it was not the best plus the cauliflower was too wet for the nori so next time I think I’ll cook it in the oven like my zoodles and order the good nori. It was really squishy.

Made blackberry crisp and tried no churn ice cream. The crisp is good, the ice cream is hard and crystally even after a tablespoon of rum to help it from freezing hard.

All still under 20 net carbs

I know!

I upset my hosts in China when I declined the rice, steamed bread, fruit and yogurt. I was full but I know they thought I would be hungry and not happy with their food. But I had plenty of non/starchy veggies and meat.

I made a point to praise their food and tell them how much I enjoyed it and how good it was (all true). That pleased them.

One day I asked for a smaller bowl of noodles in the cantina. It had a generous helping of ground beef with a sauce on top (yum). I pinched my fingers together to ask for a SMALL portion. She understood my sign language. But she only removed about a fourth of the noodles. I finally asked my colleague next to me who understood English to get her to give me the one-fourth, not the 3/4 portion of noodles. They all shook their heads. Silly Americans!

Avocado, eggs scrambled in ghee with salt, turmeric, and black pepper, along with 30g pecans.
