Chicken Crust Pizza, the texture is similar to a hand-tossed crust

(Mediterranean Magic! Show me yer...) #5

Hey @Becky could you please link to the crust recipe? Grazzie

@MableSyrup I haven’t posted it yet…

Chicken Pizza Crust

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 25 grams (~1/4 cup) grated Parmesan
  • 60 grams (~1/2 cup) shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1 large egg
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line pizza pan with parchment paper and spray paper with non-stick spray. Mix all ingredients together and put it on the lined pan. Place another piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap on top and press the mixture into the pan. Remove the top layer of parchment paper/plastic wrap.
Bake in oven until crust is golden approx 25-30 minutes.
Remove crust and use another pan to flip it over and bake another 5-8 minutes.
Add sauce, toppings, and cheese then bake until melted.
    Eat!

Here’s what I do in a pinch… eat toppings only! I told the hostess I’m not a weirdo, I’m just going low carb… haha

So, uh… you may or may not want to look up what the term ‘fappin’ typically means in colloquial language.

It’s not exactly safe for work, though I understand there is a much less used version of the term indicating something is great.

‘Flippin Pizza’ on the other hand, is the name of a local pizza joint, which is what I initially read and thought was meant here.

“Coney dog” fathead

Homemade bacon fat alfredo pizza with grilled chicken and Brussels.
Meatza (sausage crust) from our local Italian restaurant. Truffled ham, asparagus, mushrooms, carmelized onions and goat cheese

Thanks for letting me know – I’m well aware of what fapping means lol. Pizza so good you wanna touch yourself!

@MableSyrup my sides are hurting :joy::smile::wink::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

(Mediterranean Magic! Show me yer...) #13

Right? !

(Jeremy Johnson) #15

Our first meatza. Must say it was pretty good, though I think I like the fathead more lol.

(Arlene) #16

I recently tweaked the fathead crust by reducing the almond flour by half and replacing it with an ounce of pork dust. This combo has an excellent taste and texture, and even lower carbs than the original fathead version. Two slices and I’m stuffed. Your pic looks fantastic, by the way.

My first attempt at Fathead pizza. I didn’t have mozzarella so I used mild cheddar and I think it turned out pretty damn good. The pizza is a buffalo turkey with full fat blue cheese dressing sauce topped with more cheddar and bacon.

Mmmmm. What’s on it?

(Mike W.) #20

Grilled chicken thighs, sliced portabellas, goat cheese, fresh basil and a homemade bacon fat alfredo sauce.

She’s not pretty, I’m still dreaming of the flavors… Garlic Special in a bowl, from our fav pizza joint in Milwaukee, WI Transfer Pizza… garlic cream sauce, cheese, mushrooms, and double sausage baked without a crust, then a few fresh toms sprinkled on top… divine!
