Short ribs - need recipe

I finally bought 2 pkgs of short ribs of beef. I’ve only had short ribs in a restaurant & wanted to try making it at home. I have a slow cooker & an Instant Pot. Recommendations, recipes?

First time I ever made short ribs I used Top Colichio’s (Chef judge from Top Chef) recipe as a basis.

Now I rub with butcher ground pepper and kosher salt and smoke till tender.

Yes, but it’s a tabletop propane grill, not much control on the flame or distance.
