Hi, you fast 1 time a week 36 hours? That sounds reasonable. On the day you fast do you feel cold?

FINALLY getting a week where I can join you guys! This belongs on the “you know you area ketoan” thread… but I miss fasting!
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would miss “not eating”
I’ll be joining you tomorrow night starting after dinner. Driving to Ft Worth on Monday - little over 7 hours - and it’s nice that all I need to do is make a quick gas stop and not bother with eating.
Jane, I will be starting a 3 day fast after dinner tomorrow night. I am trying to get in enough fats and protein to make it an easy one. Enjoy your drive.
I’m feasting today and tomorrow. Wanted to use up a nice fatty rib eye steak before starting another fast.
So I broke last night. I wasn’t really hungry but my mood was off so I decided to eat. 48 hours is not to shabby.
Intending to fast this weekend, just to get me back on track with everything. Trying for at least a 48, but might end up being a 67ish hour fast (since I ate late last night)

Last meal Saturday night, then breakfast Monday. I did it last week and it was no issue. This time really suits as my wife is out all day on Sunday, which makes things easier. I presume at some point I’ll have to change this setup in order to mix it up, but it’s what I’m going with right now.
Not cold on these short fasts, but I got VERY cold hands (especially) and feet when I did an 86-hour or so fast a few weeks ago. This MIGHT turn into a test of that again, as my wife is house/cat sitting for a friend and so she’ll be around but not around simultaneously, much like Schrodinger’s cat, so we’ll see what happens tomorrow morning. Her schedule and this stupid depression flareup will both be factors, and they’re both currently inscrutable…
Same here, Jane. I’ve actually been fasting damn near every week (4 out of the last 5) and doing nearly 4 days each time. With one week of OMAD in the middle. - So mostly fasting during the work week still. And I also said I would give it a break for the rest of the month, but I’m really itching to fast once again, because I do miss it, and enjoy not eating at work. … So might just start up again after Sunday night’s dinner tomorrow.

I’m eating big this weekend then I’m thinking after dinner tonight (Sunday) I’ll go through to Friday night dinner. That’s going to be my 5th 5-Dayer.
I ate a lot the last couple of days, that’s about it for planning currently
@juice is it bad that I plan to cook things for the family I wouldn’t eat while fasting?
Ha thanks. It’s not to be cool but it just works for me. Fasting is pretty easy, it’s just no to everything, maybe some salt and lots of water. If I felt better with 24/36hr fasting I would do that. The important thing: eat if you’re hungry. It’s nice to be figuring out what that means.
Not unless it’s weird things you’re forcing them to eat as some sort of fasting punishment, I suspect
