so by lifting the calories I will still get to ketosis and lose weight
Not giving up just feeling fed up
Me too… FYI, I have raspberries and cream for dessert many days. Numnumnum…berries are ok, but you need to include them in your carb count.
Go to the menu at the top of the screen and choose food.

So I will work on upping the calorie count and fat and keeping the carbs the same
Yes. You may not lose weight immediately as there is an adjustment period. But ultimately this is the best way to lose weight. Fix your body, build your metabolism, become fat adapted, and enjoy eating bacon!! Numnumnum…
I can’t tolerate normal cheese or normal milk I get nauseated and my bowels aren’t good. It is made out of coconut the same as I use coconut milk.
so now I am going to go and eat a little bit more because I am starving
Me too!
Time for lunch!
Good luck with all this - I’m sure you’ll feel happier and less confused soon!
Debbie
Promise me one thing: never be starving again, it is counterproductive. Go eat some fat, enjoy it, and know you are fixing you. Welcome to the team!
I am going to go and make myself some 90sec bread and have some butter and I will find something else. Thanks, Alecmcq
I’m just going to add this because you’ve had so much confusion due to wrong (fat) macros and calories and unhelpful info from the other Keto group:
Weight loss on keto is based on not having an insulin response (hence the low carbs)
Keto weightloss doesn’t have to do with restricting calories from other sources (eg fat)
As long as you’re not combining insulin response with calories, you’ll be fine.
So you don’t need to think of calories the same way you used to.
The lack of insulin response makes all the difference.
