Here’s our cat Betty (Boopy, Booperoo) too!!
And Gryffyn as a pup!!
Keto Pets
My parents have had several Great Danes. Unfortunately they’ve all needed surgery at some point. They’re great dogs.
Very similar to how our pets are fed.
Commercial wet food (as high in meat as possible) for both with raw bones and raw offal given regularly along with a daily egg, shell and all, for the dog.
They like it for sure!
This is Zoey my Australian Cattle Dog, she’s 4 years old but will forever be a terrible toddler in her mind…she has a tremendous amount of energy and is wicked smart. I rescued her a year ago from a high kill shelter…she keeps me on my toes and has given such unconditional love.
Here are four of mine. Three are around 13 yo, one is unknown but probably 8. BTW, I really enjoyed all the awesome pictures of your pets!
My cats eat primarily canned pate style food. NO DRY CATFOOD/GRAINS AT ALL! All kinds of treats including raw chicken, chicken liver, cheese, cream, canned tuna, canned salmon, raw hamburger, roast beef, deli turkey, sardines. They are all healthy but one is obese. He is a rescued feral, so I think he overeats since he was used to starving for his early life.
I don’t let my cats outside anymore since there is large coyote that lurks nearby. (I live in a suburb of a large city!) So I struggle with how to get exercise for them. I even bought a big 4ft wheel for cats to run on; they are terrified of it. Couple hundred bucks wasted.
Nice Ball Python. I’ve had all sorts myself over the years. Couple Burmese, African Rock, Ball, as well Red Tails, etc. Not to mention all the Monitors/Lizards/Dragons. I was actually thinking of getting a Ball again not that long ago, but don’t have a lot of free time at the moment.
One of the best thing about a ball is they require so little care time to be happy. Check water every other day, spot check for poop, feed rat on Sunday. He’s only handled 1-2 times a week and he’s so chill. Currently working on his new tank.
The redtail boa I’m after this summer will definitely require more exercise and attention.
Yep, you’re correct on both. - Ball’s are so laid back and docile, but the Red’s can also get touchy at times, not to mention their size. Not a long as the Pythons, but thick. … My last Burmese was 13-1/2’ and I gave him to a friend that did shows all across the United States, mostly at schools and educating kids. (He was very gentle and used to handling, but finding food was getting quite hard. He was eating much larger foods that I won’t mention here, since some have similar pets but if I had to feed him, say, smaller mammals… it would take a boat load just to fill him up.
Me and my Stella will come over, she’ll chase them around the house for an hour to give them some exercise. To Stella cats are the enemy.
Yeah, my ex took the dogs, they used to do that too. My two toms chase and wrestle, the girls not so much.
Our two cats, boys, get plenty of exercise tearing through the house. Every time they crash into the wall, I think, “That’s it; they’ve killed themselves.”
But no such luck.
Thank you Doug! I was unfamiliar with her breed until we got her home. She is a 25 lb Tasmanian devil of energy! She brings all new meaning to my world of “likes to take long walks”. It’s one of those who save who deals…she was at a high kill shelter, I had lost my 16 year old dog 6 months before. Took her months to trust us enough to lay next to us, now she’s velcro dog. She has issues with car chasing, people, and other dogs outside of the house. Everyday we walk and work a little at resolving them. Just love her to pieces!
Hi, I’m new, and I ADORE this thread.
I reside in Alaska, and this is my crew! Husky is a rescue from the most northern village and town in the US, Barrow, named Sheba. Blue pitty is Inka, I got her from the shelter when she was 10 months old, and she is now 8 (). Red one is Odin. My fiancé loved pit bulls so much after meeting Inka, he got a puppy for himself.
We also have a mini farm up here. 5 goats (Jack is the glorious white buck and baby Nigerian Wilbur), 10 chickens, a million bun buns, and a horse! Oh yeah, and my sneaky snek.
