OK, so this was a while ago, but I still like it.

It is really a lovely one. I know she will love working on it.

(Janelle) #125

Here are the towels off the loom. These are a gift for a friend.

(Jane) #126

Beautiful!!! I hope your friend appreciates the labor of love that goes into hand made items.

(Jane) #127

A pair of socks will have 10-15,000 knitted stitches, depending on the size.

(Doug) #128

:open_mouth: Holy Moly…

(Jane) #129

I’ve had inquiries about what I would charge for hand made items.

I am an engineer and my hourly rate is pretty damn high. For a pair of socks or shawl with beads the cost would be unobtainable. It is a labor of love and free and that is my story and I’m sticking to it!!!

(Hyperbole- best thing in the universe!) #130

those are gorgeous!

(Jane) #131

I also make goat’s milk soap.

Both batches are lovely. Your friends are lucky you are so gifted.

(Doug) #134

Jane, that is cool as ****. Ooh I got the chills. :slightly_smiling_face:

(Jane) #135

Thanks! The black is powdered charcoal the other colors are micas approved for skin.

The oils I use are palm, coconut, olive, almond and Shea butter. Super moisturizing and my skin loves it.

#136

That is the prettiest bar of soap I’ve ever seen. It belongs on one of those fancy soap trays
