Fasting together?

Hi guys! I’m just recovering from a couple of hard carby months. I’m thinking about doing a long fast from monday 7-23 to Friday 7-27 to kill once and for all my sugary cravings. Does anybody want to join me?

I’m thinking of doing a water fast, with salt and magnesium only, but every kind of fasting style is welcomed.

I just think it will be easier to get through it with companions ^^ like a adventure quest hehe.

Awwwwright! How’s it going so far? This is only my second fast, the last one was three days also. I’ve decided to keep them short so I don’t burn myself out. Headed downstairs to make some keto aid now. I miss physically chewing but the hunger is not bad so far. I feel peckish.

I just started a similar fast (last meal was at 8pm Monday), hoping to get to 7/31, I haven’t been able to make it passed 3 days and the weekends always kill me.

I started an EF on Sunday night at 11:00 PM. I’m still going strong. I’m fasting until my blood sugars come down below 100, still not there at 63 hours. My ketones were 1.1 last night though and I’m going to test them again tonight. I’d also like to break through my weight loss plateau. I may go until Friday. Green tea and black coffee. No hunger and usually when I get this far I just start to psychologically miss eating. I need to push through that. I’m listening to a lot of Jason Fung podcasts to keep me motivated.

Yes! Jason Fung is also my fasting guru. Me too, is not a physical issue. Every time I’m hungry is a mental thing, like… It would be nice to eat this or that… Is so hard to control my mind in those moments. Usually a little bit of salt helps… But I’m still on it…
Wow sunday night, you rock! I hope to get to Friday but I’m really missing food…
