Costco shopping list

The ribs do not have any sauce. They have a subtle peppery taste to them.

I love Costco…

Just stopped by to pick up a couple things and saw they had Kirkland organic chicken wing parts for $4.00 off per pack AND boneless skinless thigh and leg meat for $6.00 off per pack! I bought 2 of each but might go back!!

This is probably just my store - sometimes they get too much in. Over Christmas, they had the same deal with beef tenderloin, like $10 off a pack. I bought two of those too. Hmmm, I need to get one of those out this weekend…

And I almost forgot the best thing I found!

Meatballs with no filler!! I like the chicken sausages they make, so these should be great! I can just see these with a big scoop of pesto and cheese baked on top! Yum!

We just call that bacon low carb candy, almost never heat it up. usually have half a pack gone before I get home. I don’t buy it much any more, can’t afford it the way we go though it and I tend to put on a few pounds due to the salt. Wouldn’t be a problem if just ate in moderation, but then I’ve never been good at moderation.

These are my favorite and soooooo yummy!

Costco had pork belly this afternoon. :flushed:

Man, it will have to wait a couple weeks. We are going out of town next weekend.

Costco Trip
(Ernest) #53

I found a gallon tub of Tropical Plantation organic refined coconut oil. I prefer refined coconut oil for deep frying. It’s cheap enough and has a really high smoke point.
I keep my kirkland unrefined coconut oil for ā€œeatingā€ straight.

Hey where are those located? Sending hubby and didn’t know Costco had bacon crumbles. Their bacon is divine!

(Jennifer) #55

They are shelf stable and located in the isle with the oils/olives/salad dressings.

#56

I’m hoping these come to my Costco soon. I check every week.

(Ed Sison) #57

At Costco’s Rego Park, Queens branch, ghee can be found in the ā€œoilā€ shelves.

wish we had a Costco closer to us!

I went for my first ever shopping trip to Costco today. FOUR. HOURS.

At my store today, the precooked bacon has sugar in the ingredients. Read labels every time!

Those wonderful Coleman Organic meatballs? My store had basil & Roasted garlic instead of Hearty Italian. Sounded awesome to me, but hubby doesn’t do garlic in large quantities. Maybe I’ll try them & see if I think they’ll bother him.

BLAST! I forgot the bacon crumbles!
:sob::sob::sob:

I couldn’t buy a lot today, simply because I have no room in my fridge! As it is, I am processing a 2.5 pound (1 kg!) bag of baby spinach into single-serve bags, blanched for freezing, because the romaine hearts, celery & HWC ate up the remaining space in the fridge side (couldn’t believe Horizon Organic was cheaper than the non-organic with carrageenan in it!). No meat today except some pork meat sticks that have a bit of sugar (1g per stick), but I think my hubby will be able to get away with them. I will definitely be getting loads of sardines and canned salmon, produce, bacon crumbles, eggs, nuts, cheeses & meats there. And the Foodsaver, if I don’t find one in a Thrift Shop before March 4th when the sale ends. :innocent: After that, there’s the yard furniture, gas grill, kayak … :smiling_imp:

I want to get a foodsaver vacuum sealer from Costco

(Candy Lind) #65

EDIT: moved post about the seaweed snacks to a separate food topic.

(Cailyn Mc Cauley) #66

Love my food saver from Costco.

Right now I’m air-drying-marinating 18lbs of ribeye. Tomorrow I’ll smoke them and then food saver in individual portions!

OH. EM. GEE! Flash Flood warning on my street from the drool!!

Their Kirkland Smoked Pulled Pork is dang good (16g fat, 22g pro, 0c carb). Slice off a hunk against the grain and fry it up, gets nice and crispy, falls apart.
