Costco Trip

(KB Keto) #1

Team Keto,

I need your input. I am making a trip to Costco tomorrow and other than the mass quantities of toilet paper and paper towels (come on, these are really why we all have a Costco membership right?)… I need help picking up some keto gems.

What ya got for me?

They have a 3 pack of nitrate/nitrite free bacon that’s delish! Thanks for all the other ideas!

This thread is reinforcing the fact that I need to get a Costco membership again.

Keto problem, though - I don’t eat as much as I used to in general and then fasting means we use less food. How do you deal with Costco quantities on keto?
How much is freezable?
Do they sell freezers at Costco?

I have a foodsaver. I will go to costco, get a pack of ribeyes or NY strip steaks. Then I season them and put a dollop of Kerry Gold butter in the bag and seal them up and freeze them. They keep for a long team when vacuum sealed. Then when it’s time to eat, I sous vide cook the steaks and sear them in a cast iron pan. Delish!

And yes, costco sells freezers and vacuum sealers.

If you are low on spices get them at costco! Its ridiculous how much cheaper they are from there vs your average store. I got a huge thing of chili powder at something like a 10x better value! The small spices sold at the store for 5 to 6$ is crazy!

We stocked up on some goodies. I cant believe I didnt buy my coconut oil there in the past!!!
