After various extended fasts, my penis has shrunk

This is a genuine post and I have been very hesitant to post until now.
After losing a lot of weight from fasting over a variety of fasting periods, my penis shrunk to about 1/2 to 2/3 its previous size. The girth has also gone down too.
I have tried searching online to get an answer as to why this would have happened, but found nothing.
I can’t afford to see a doctor and I have no fasting or keto sympathetic doctor or other medical people in my area anyway. I am quite troubled by this too.

If anyone knows why this would or might have happened or suggest the possible cause, please respond.
My penis is otherwise functioning normally.

I am close to my optimum weight, eat very healthily and I don’t take any meds.

Over how long a period of time did this occur? I’m going to suggest that it’s circulatory. Some shrinking is normal as men age too. It’s from decreased testosterone if I remember correctly.

The reason is catabolism, when you fast (especially extensively) your body uses extra flesh that you don’t need as food for your body and turns it into glucose.

When you lay low on eating protein and you fast or variations within those parameters a percentage of loose skin gets catabolized (labeled as endogenous food).

So just eat more protein and your little fella will regain some girth…lol

This plus losing abdominal weight will make the penis appear larger. The article @amwassil posted was interesting and explains it.

I think a little catabolism does happen in the genital area, even though it is essential gear, roast beef labia I think comes from eating too much protein…lol :rofl:

SCREW THAT! When somethings wrong with your junk… you figure that crap out!

As it’s been said, some of this could actually have been fat as far as girth, length… I dunno how that would have worked. But as @Chris262 said, we talking flaccid or erect, that’ll tell you something right there. I’m gonna go with either your not exactly right for now as far as blood flow / vascular issue or your hormones are screwing up which is also pretty likely.

I can tell you as somebody that’s taken a healthy doses of testosterone, anabolics and other “fun” stuff that I didn’t medically need, that while your real size is set once you stop growing, you can effect how much of it you’re working with a lot more than you think you can. Most of it is hormone levels and blood flow.

If you’re in the states and don’t have insurance they’ll see you money or not. If you do have ins this kind of stuff is always covered. They don’t need to be keto sympathetic, you’re not there for a diet consultation.

If you want to do a little self doctoring, grab some horny goat weed and L-Citruline. Double the dose on both for a couple days and see if something changes. That’s basically poor mans Viagra. It’s NOT going to do what Viagra does but it’ll improve blood flow down there to a noticeable point, if you see a difference you’ll have a direction to troubleshoot in.

How much weight have you lost so far, how old are you and have you ever had your hormone levels checked in the past?

I am certain one is increasingly handsome elsewhere, after weight loss.
I wonder there are no females here complaining “My boobs have shrunk!” after they lose weight. I think they are simply happy to be svelte. Concentrating on penis size seems to be a very masculine focus.
As a woman, I can only say it mattered more how it was used. I think women see abs, biceps, or a flat broad chest more than they actually look at penis size. Well- as long as it isn’t a micro-penis. On the other hand, a HUGE penis isnt any good either, as all of us who have watched “Sex and the City” know. Anything in the normal range which is functional is fine.
So what is the worry? That it will shrink up and disappear? That happens to be a very strange neurosis found in Asia- mostly among the chinese. A very strange neurosis- the fear that the penis will shrink into oblivion. Not kidding.

A few years ago - purely for experimental purposes - I bought one of these…

Not ashamed at all by the purchase, and I have to say, with regular use, it really did make a difference on several fronts - size, performance, and sensitivity!

Might be worth trying something like this for a few months??

Also, recommend you research - a website which is set up for guys who are trying various methods of enhancement. If it’s really bothering you, take control, there are things you can do.
