But fasting is something I just can’t do, I have gotten up at 8am then wait till 11am to start eating but that’s it, for me fasting is not for ppl that exercise a lot or like to go for long walks, cause my gut would hurt so badly I just won’t do it

Not saying you have to fast. My point is that people can and do burn their own fat, and thus they do not need to worry about “not eating enough fat.”

Have to laugh - broccoli, cauliflower and butter was what I ate last night. 2 big heads of broccoli, 1 of cauliflower. Did not spare the butter, either - 10+ ounces or ~300 grams.

I don’t get sugar cravings much unless I’m at the coarse and someone passes a joint around lol after that I might but I just throw in a handful of sunflower seeds in the shell in my mouth and start shelling them with my teeth and eating the seed, ppl think I’m a darn bird or something lol, sweet cravings are gone, is it the sodium that does that? Lol
Yep but I was at 260 before I started keto, ok so I started keto actually about 3 months ago, and I went to the doctor about my high bp and they put (3 1/2 months ago) me on bp pills and I got dizzy and thought it was the pills causing it, then my friend said you should try keto, but I was already cutting back carbs drinking a lot of water mind you, but not trying to be in keto but I was and my carbs were not 20 but like 35, I was using MyFitnessPal to track, I said to my friend do you think I could have been in keto before I started it, he said sure he looked up online and it said 45g or less to stay in keto we like wtf? So I started keto went one week then quit, eat a scoop of no sugar added ice cream and had a really bad headache 30 min later, and I waited and ate food but not much carbs maybe 35 and trying everything to get rid of headache and dizziness, but the salt worked but not always and another reason I don’t like fasting is because I cannot take my supplements on an empty stomach
Time scramble some eggs and fasting means I have to supplement potassium chloride or I will get leg cramps, and it is not healthy to supplement straight potassium chloride so fasting is not an option for me

Yeah, 24 grams is pretty good. No need to try and hit that exact “5%” though, so totally fine to be at less than 24.

Moderate protein - can use a macro if you need help with what is “moderate”
Fat if you are hungry and have trouble making it to the next meal w/o snacking. Not a goal. Your goal as you stated is to lose weight so you want to eat your own body fat. not plate fat. But snacking between meals is worse than overeating plate fat since it spikes your insulin and prevents you from being able to access your fat stores.
I don’t snack, I just put a couple eggs in the snack list but I only eat what I think I need, no processed junk just few nuts but it takes me 5 min to chew a nut because I don’t have many teeth in the back lol
Well my weight hasn’t changed sense I started keto just some water weight gone but I have been around 224 pounds the last month or two
Maybe snacking on carbs might spike insulin but not everything
