And 2400 calories is enough for me, I don’t understand why I should eat more, gee how would I know what my calories are at today if I didn’t log it, that’s why I have the app, if it’s not working then I’m lost

How did we all survive before the invention of tracking apps?!?! If they were essential you wouldn’t be here as humans would have been extinct long long ago.

Many people have given you excellent advice. Maybe you need to read it without prejudice because you come across as very argumentitive to people who are trying to help you. People who have been successful eating this way.

I have adhd with reading comprehension and math problems, learning disability that’s why I like an app so I don’t get mad and smash my iPad or just quit the diet, and I’m not tracking calories, they are just there I don’t care really, but today is the most I have eaten in awhile, I try to eat right but without an app I might eat too much fat or not enough or whatever

Sounds reasonable, let’s roll with that. That’s likely close to your lean body mass. Your protien is based on 1-1.5 grams per KG of lean body mass.

175 lbs is about 80 KG, so your protien target range is 80-120 grams.

So let’s revisit the basics l, geared to you. DON’T worry about percentages, let’s just focus on GRAMS.

  • 20 grams or less of carbohydrates
  • 80-120 grams of protien
  • fat to satiety (until you’re full)

If you’re hungry, eat, and try to eat fat. Any veggies should be vessels for fat. Eat them with butter or low carb dressings or mayo.

You can still use the app if you want, but use it to track carbs and protein grams. The only fat goal is satiety, what the app tells you to eat is irrelevant. For now, ignore the percentages.

Ok I had the protein set lower on the app but that is if I want to lose more than 1 pound a week, like 2 pounds a week but thought I was 1 pound a week so I can eat more sense ppl say I’m not eating enough :man_shrugging:t2:
