14 day fast, here we go!
ACV or raw red wine vinegar is what I use to mix with plan club soda, seltzer water, or sparkling water or flat water. I add lemon/orange extract and a few drops of liquid stevia and a splash of lime. It will be a refreshing addition and offer some of the variety you want. During my recent Fast this was one of my favorite ways to get fluids in me!
Awhile before doing my 21 day fast I saw this video - this is more of the experience that @Fiorella had.
I didn’t have the tongue action happening, but week one I had skin issues. I took to using Epsom salt soaks a few nights a week and also doing dry brushing to help with ‘old stuff’ removal. And to my surprise I would have a ‘digestive release’ maybe every 2-3 days with the occasional ‘purge’ that I wasn’t expecting beyond the first 3-4 days, but they happened.

BGL is a healthy 5.2mmol/L (90ish) (morning reading and have shed 4.3kg (9.4lbs) so far in 4 days!
I’ll measure blood ketones tonight at the end of the day.
Not hungry yet!
Wrapping up day 5. Feeling good. No real hunger pangs until 7pm. Just riding it out. Introducing a shot or two of apple cider vinegar throughout the day.
Observation: it’s easier for me to fast on a weekend day than it is to IF. Weekdays are easy for IF because I’m busy working. The weekend takes extra diligence.
Thanks for the review. I have been wondering about purchasing. I find many authors no matter what their subject usually their first book is the best and follow ups will repeat to pad it out.

The main macro in there is protein, based on nutritional info on back. This will have potential to halt autophagy. Protein can also be insulinogenic. But…I don’t know what your goals are for fasting. I would customize drinks to suit your fasting goals. In some cases, broth is ok.
Day 14…a little off today. Weak, lightheaded. Very stressful at home, which I am sure isn’t helping. Going to take a multivitamin and get my electrolytes up.
Lol, I keep getting my days mixed up. Today was day 6.
It started off great. Pretty sure I experienced the Keto Rush for most of the day. I was like a speed freak running around the house getting all sorts of projects done.
Around 4pm, I got really sluggish. That hasn’t really worn off (it’s now 6:30). Maybe I’ll slug some more apple cider vinegar.
I see early to bed tonight.
