Yummy way to get in fat

I feel like this may be good for us newbies especially. I found a great way to get in fat and salt! Heat up some chicken broth in a saucepan, add a chicken boullion cube, and then after that’s all dissolved in there, take it off the heat and stir in some HWC. Makes a delicious creamy chicken broth that really satiates you! Had some for lunch and I’m FULL. :slight_smile:

I think you’ve just invented Cream of chicken soup :slight_smile:

Actually you can do something similar with ghee or butter if you blend it so it emulsifies (I use a magic bullet)

I do this though I make it like I would bullet proof coffee with butter and coconut oil… stick blender it and boom creamy fatty salty goodness!

This is fantastic with coconut milk instead of cream. I recently gave up caffeine and switched to broth for my breakfast drink: a cup of homemade chicken bone broth, 1/4 cup coconut milk (canned), some Lite Salt (for potassium), some turmeric, and some black pepper. Super warming and satiating.
