This is the face lotion I’ve been using for the last few months…

(Running from stupidity) #64

So, is that Nov 2006, or June 2011?

(squirrel-kissing paper tamer) #65

It’s November 2006! Love it :rofl::rofl:

(Daisy) #66

This one. I bought it when I worked at a pharmacy in 1998. :joy: still works!

(Running from stupidity) #67

American dates, you never can tell if the logic switch has been turned on for it or not

My 12 year old is going to fight you.

And it is going to SUCK, because he will stink of onions.

@GoKeto74 extra carbs around an “intense spin” are very likely meaningless.

I was not able to read all of the posts above but, something like an “intense spin” will keep you in ketosis - even with an accidental 30 to 50 extra grams of carbs.

In fact, for performance reasons, might be good to pre-load some carbs to burn them off in class.

Go with blood ketone measurements instead of some very-low carb cap. That 20 gram cap was not chosen to cover the people engaging in high intensity exercise.

Whatever amount of carbs you ate then, you have already won this day!:clap::clap:

You don’t have to be perfect right out of the box.

Try going from one system to another. When I first moved back here I couldn’t cross the road - even after looking left, right and left again (as mom taught) without being certain that I was about to be run over my a truck coming from the right. :grimacing: The roads, the dates, the spelling - ugh. At least people here can read cursive. Got so tired of people not being able to read “joined up writing”. Seriously? I had to print in all caps for years.

#75

I heard they are not teaching cursive anymore in US schools. It seems strange to me.

#76

Because 95% of everything involves typing, not writing. Apart from learning how to write your signature, cursive is useless nowadays.

(Daisy) #77

Most of our schools here teach cursive. (West Virginia)

(Robert C) #78

I think the next jump will be pure dictation.

Why play with typing into your iPad when you can just talk and send?

#79

Maybe it’s an Arizona thing. They do not teaching the multiplication tables here either. That is something I actually use as an adult.

Autocorrect would have to be more advancedand programmed to understand the difference between there, their and they’re

This is happening - your words are sent out to “big data” (to get context) and digested for your, you’re etc.

Not perfect but becoming close.
