TJ, I am also “fat adapted” and indulged in a piece of cheesecake for my nieces wedding yesterday (sans- the crust). I enjoyed it but did do keto through the meal ( I ate the meat and veggies only with added butter and had fasted since breakfast.) I had a bit of an urgent need for the toilet but nothing dramatic. I may or may not see a stall for a week, we will see. An occasional indulgence for social reasons or whatever has not stopped my progress. YMMV. (I’ve had three “cheat” meals since beginning this WOE this past Jan. )

The math of the caloric deficit, weight loss, its location (gynoid) and percentage, lean mass… All of it lines up as predicted !

However, I still want to hear your thoughts about keeping some gynoid fat or going all the way to the 4-5% body fat ?
They say that gynoid fat distribution actually “protects” from metabolic syndrome !
It might… it may well not. I had a monster donut recently and it didn’t have that kind of impact that some others mention. N=1.
I’d have the cake and see what happens… bad and at least you know (it won’t be THAT bad) and if low/no impact, that’s a great result for integrating with the rest of humanity that hasn’t yet seen the light.
I would never naysay bacon… I have 30lbs in the fridge and eat it almost every day…

Finally, breached that 60 kg floor…i think i’ll stop right there
My birthday came and went…and as robert predicted, it was awful…like medically !
It took me 45 minutes…45…to binge 150g of peanuts ! And i was full like 7 minutes into it ! Glad to find out my hyperphagia is cured
The ice cream bread milk yogurt cake sandwiches etc the following couple of days were an ordeal…it was like i was punishing myself !
The amazing thing is that it was painful but with only 5000 positive caloric balance ! Thats just a three day fast just sitting around ! No coffee or exercise !
I’ll be more reasonable on New Year’s, the next time i’ll go over 15 net carbs…
