What to do with bamboo shoots?

Hi All,

I have three cans of bamboo shoots that are about to go out of date. Problem: I do not really like them, which is why they are going out of date.

Is there a way to make them yummy? So far butter and garlic, only helps a little

Life is short. Why force yourself to eat food you don’t like? Even my inner Scotsman sees no reason not to chuck them.

Donate to a local food bank?

Personally I add them to chicken curry when I make it.

Donate them to your local pandas, they love them !

Don’t waste them. Open the can, put the shoots in the compost pile for the worms, and put the can in the metal recycle bin.
