I had to train myself to be a sidesleeper due to a very bad neck - I still miss sleeping on my tummy
What did you learn today?
Ugh itâs so comfortable to sleep on your stomach I guess Iâll get one of those body pillows and try side sleeping. How did you train yourself to no longer be a tummy sleeper?
My wife has been thrilled to discover that, since losing 15kg, she a) can sleep on her stomach again, and b) no longer hates our stupidly expensive mattress.
YOU PEOPLE!
My brain keeps wanting me to do this, itâs annoying.
I was pretty desperate/motivated due to the pain I did get a body pillow - sort of an anti-roll device - but also invested in something like this
That looks perfect, Iâll have to invest in one thank you!
Jealous that @juice âs wife can sleep on her stomach with no issues
With my neck issues, Iâve used memory foam pillows like that for years and years. Very helpful.
Yes, I do the same thing. Those crappy no-structure pillows that are everywhere are USELESS.
When I first got it I thought âhow the hell does anyone sleep on anything this firmâ? Now when they start to soften up I have to buy a new one Man theyâre good.
Have you found a brand you prefer? I really need to replace mine.
I know Aldi have some on special currently, and I was thinking about that, given Iâve found them all to be pretty similar over time.
Well, I think they do, anyway.
Mine is an âallcareâ - I buy it from my physioâs office & probably replace it once a year or so
I just started using one last week. They are very comfortable.
I learned that Dr. Satchin Panda who promotes âtime limit eating windowsâ does not promoted a 6 hr. window. He says any TLE window of 8-10 hrs, will be very good for just about anyone. If it is 12 hrs. occasionally, that should still be ok as well especially if you eat the last meal 3-4 hrs. before going to bed, the more hours before bed the better. .
This is a good @half hr. interview with him about it and his reseach:

So I am doing an experiment to see how I do with the 8 hr. protocol. It is sure a mix up from my IF/ET routines.
Every time I see âDr Pandaâ I relearn that I think itâs from a comedy skit. I canât help it
There is also a popular childrenâs game called Dr. Panda. A google search comes up with Dr. Panda that is full of links to it. You have to add Sanchin to his name to get hits about him.
It makes me think of a big black and white animal munching around on bamboo usually.
When I took an overnight ferry in Korea, people slept on the floor, and pillows were provided. They were semi-hard blocks several inches high, and covered in leather or something similar. I didnât try sleeping, so I donât know whether they were comfortable or not.
I was reading about the famous Pillow Book musings of a court lady in Japan 1000 years ago. Apparently she acquired a pile of notebooks and proposed to use them to make a pillow. (I guess she wrote in them instead.) The Korean ferry pillows might have been made out of stack of notebooks.
I was raised with no pillow at all, and Iâm not a pillow connoisseur. But I use silk satin pillowcases to prevent hair damage. I have very fragile hair, and it breaks off if I sleep on cotton or synthetic pillowcases.
You poor thing! Itâs so sad that you have to spend your life sleeping on silk and satin.
I know what itâs like, because my doctor insistsâabsolutely insistsâthat I have to stay in air conditioning as much as possible in summertime, because of my asthma. I really hate it, but itâs doctorâs orders!
They also told us to eat lots of carbs, so you feel free to ignore him.
That if I ever want to start a small focus group about Barry SearsâŠand that Diet or fad
I know where to get His book!!
I can go get 9 copies today âŠyes Nine , on the Zone Diet Book at my local thrift store.
They were in stock.
No joke folks
Guessing they were just out of stock on the Obesity Codeđ
