What did you Keto today?

(Eric - The patient needs to be patient!) #9360

18/6 IF
No pictures—sorry
I love breakfast so for lunch I took to work a 2 :egg: omelet with smoked salmon and cream cheese and extra butter. Had some avocado and a mixed green salad with olives, olive oil, and cheddar cheese.

Looks amazing!! Do you have a recipe for the creamed spinach?

#9362

Well, that nicely worded description sounded pretty good!

#9363

Hi Amy, I kind of made up my own version as I went along
I sautéed some mushrooms, prawns, chopped garlic, salt, pepper and red peppers in butter for a few mins (until prawns turned pink) added a generous amount of spinach on top. Covered with a lid for 3-4 mins until spinach had wilted. Drained excess liquid and stirred 2 generous table spoons of cream cheese. Added chopped black olives a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and topped with grated mozzarella.

 so vibrant!

(Amy Ramadan) #9365

Oh wow!! Sounds easy enough!! Can’t wait to try it!! I bet my keto kids will love it as well!! Thanks for sharing!!

#9366

Your more than welcome. It really is quick and easy my 2 and 3 year old loved it! Enjoy

#9367

Snack- fresh mozzarella jalapeños and asparagus wrapped in Parma ham.

Courgette, mushroom, red pepper omelette, topped with bacon, crumbled goats cheese and avacado.

Lasagna stuffed chicken. It was so good. Its stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella some Italian seasoning. Layered stone raos sauce on top and topped with more mozzarella. Lots of salt and pepper and some olive oil.

Sweet Jesus @Bruno77. I want to bury my face in that pan in the most unholy of ways… I really need to NOT check this thread when Zornfasting

#9370

I wouldn’t blame ya!

Well, I broke my fast at 74 hrs. tonight after a bad day I’ve already mentioned elsewhere. But apparently we still had some Taco Meat from the other night, that needed to be disposed of before going bad. So had a big ole’ spinach/Taco salad with tomatoes, Mexican cheese, Taco seasoning and lightly drizzled Italian dressing. Then added a NY strip, with some pickles and olives. … I would say that the salad wasn’t as big as it appears in the image, but I would be lying. And if the buttery steak didn’t taste so good, it would have been saved till tomorrow. … Oh, forgot. I also ate two squares of 90% Lindt Supreme Dark Chocolate.

Slightly OT
@Regina I checked our local Costco
No Rao’S sauce😓
I will bill you for my mileage reimbursement

Side note…they have the big tree organic coco amino there😄 HUGE bottle 32oz for $9.49

(Running from stupidity) #9372

Awww, poor baby! We don’t have any in the country!

(TJ Borden) #9373

No, but you have zero carb beer, so shut it!

(Running from stupidity) #9374

Yeah, and I don’t drink. So, you know, big whoop

#9375

So water? Isn’t that available most places

(TJ Borden) #9376

:rofl::rofl: actually I kinda figure that’s what it would think if I ever get to try it.

We have a couple local breweries that make gluten free beer. I’m not sure what gluten does for beer, but whatever it is must be important, because it’s TERRIBLE.

#9377

I think the main ingredient in beer is gluten. Some things just shouldn’t be messed with.

#9378

Well its cooking but I thought I’d share.

12 eggs, sausage, chorizo, bacon, jalapenos, cheese.
This makes two meals.

Bed of bacon

Half the eggs, all the meat, jalapenos, cheese and tobasco.

The rest of the eggs, more cheese.
Bacon lid.
:hugs:

(Troy) #9379

Yum
That’s Bacon-me crazy😂

Had some on hand too
Instead , just had some cauliflower topped w 1/2 stick of butter
And some salmon topped w 1/4 stick

Fuzzy math🤔
Hum…1/4 stick left?

Yup!!
Had that remainder w some almond butter and pecans
I’ll take pics next time
