MCT shouldn’t have a taste. Unless you bought flavored one. Whole Foods make their own vanilla bean flavored one. Pretty damn good in coffee.
What did you Keto today?
I bought them. I think I’ve started the photo here. I use them once or twice a year. I’m not a fan of seeking carb alternatives.
Organic, grass-fed, beef patties, on a bed of grated Tillamook extra sharp cheddar cheese.
And then I covered them up with MORE cheese!
This was today’s yummy and VERY filling lunch ( had to save some for later😊)
Cream cheese, avacado, and bacon romaine lettuce boats. 2 boiled eggs drizzled with chilli infused olive oil.
I’m a newbie on here. This is my 3 week on keto and only my second post but I’m loving reading everyone’s individual journeys.

Then I scrolled down to the second picture and said, “Oh, now we’re talking.”
Finally I saw the third picture and thought, “I’m hooked! That looks great.”
Every item on there sounded so yummy! Excellent job!
Last nights dinner…
Hamburger with Mozzarella Cheese and Roa’s Marinara sauce. Squash/Zucchini scrambled in egg. And a Spinach Salad.
@Digital_Dave it’s amazing how beautiful something can look, when you just add a piece of bacon to it.
I bought an oven today! Ok, toaster oven, but in my part of the world that’s what passes for a proper oven. To celebrate I made my first fathead pizza!
I uses salsa for the pizza sauce and topped with onion, mushroom and bacon. So. Good.
Well now I have a problem. I am QUITE satiated. But I still have more pizza. Ok. Refocus. This just means I can have pizza for lunch tomorrow.
For lunch I had a yellow fin tuna steak seared with Kerrygold, salt and pepper with 2 slices of delicious fresh mozzarella. Not fat adapted yet, so still eating a lot, but damn do I love this diet!
It’s Carlshead pizza, fathead recipe without the egg. I also used coconut flour instead of almond. I just googled it to get the right proportions. It’s a fairly rough grind so I could feel the texture a bit, but I liked it that way. I might try it with the egg next time and see if I can roll the crust thinner that way. Checking all the tomato sauces at the halal store where I get my imported foods, salsa looked lowest carb and I figured that flavor goes with cheese just fine. I was right. I precooked the bacon, onions and mushrooms. Topped the precooked crust and added a little cheddar and a touch more mozzarella, and a little parmigiana. Popped in the oven 5 more minutes.
I think I’m starting to like to cook…
I make carlshead pizza quite often and use 20g coconut flour and 40g ground almonds for a good bite, with no egg. I can get it quite thin.
Also, try pesto as a sauce rather than tomato for fewer carbs. Sometimes I do dollops of boursin and dollops of pesto dotted around the base, with cheese and toppings on top. Yummy!
