You should copy (or at least link) this into the recipes topic! YUM.
What did you Keto today?
Apps for dinner. @carl’s chicken skin chorizo rolls and bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños.
Yep!! And that’s why I prefer to cook at home. I don’t like restaurants at all.
I’ve never seen one “in person.” My regular grocery doesn’t have any. Guess I’ll have to go down to Central Market and “window shop.”
Today’s breakfast: 2 scoops of Vanilla whey protein and 1/3 of a cup of liquid coconut oil
The whey protein:

And the coconut oil is something like this:
And by my calculations:
- 790 Calories
- 76g fat
- 4g carbs
- 50g protein
The added coconut oil really helps with satiety and thickness of the shake.
Actually Sam’s club now carries kobe beef. If your club has a special sushi/ fresh fish section.
They built a special section at my club. That’s where I got this one. 5 bucks lower than central market
Not necessarily - but you can get case prices that are pretty good if you have freezer space.
Should we share our failures as well as our successes?
Made onion bagels for the first time (I’ve now discovered that my baking powder expired 9 years ago). Heh
Ok, yes, before going Keto I really didn’t bake all that much…guilty.
Based on the recipe on wholesomeyum.com. Next time I’m going to cut down to one egg and double my dehydrated onion to 2T. Hopefully that nails it. (these were too eggy - the onion flavour really didn’t come through).
Edit: They’ll still get used up in some breakfast sandwiches.

If the Central Market we have in the PNW is the same as everywhere else l, that statement is true for just about everything.
That bell pepper? $1 at Safeway, $6 at central market.
