What did you Keto today?

Yes it does. Resting a steak for a few minutes allow the juices to spread throughout the meat. this is evidenced by the accumulation of the juice on the plate where you have it resting. I take the juices from the steak and pour over the vegetables on the plate - delish!

I just rince and pat dry. Get my lard hot in a cast iron skillet, season and cook them skin side down. When they are almost done I flip them over. I cook them skin side down for probably 80% of The cook time

And if you cut into a rested steak, you’ll still get the juices on the plate.
Just like the folks that claim that searing locks in the juices. No it does not.

I do not rest any meats, waste of time.

Beef stew, perfect for snowy days (and yes, as a Brit I am using that term very loosely!)

Crunchy Keto Crouton, amazing caesar salad.

I recommend these crunchy gooey treats. The secret behind this marvel is cooking at exactly 147 F. Covering them in a keto “breadcrumb” and quickly frying, results in a jaw-dropping garnish for any dish! Make these hugely satisfying morsels as impressive appetizers or, like me, make yourself a Keto Ceaser Salad.

No keto soda bread recipe. Trust me, I tried as well.

That could be a poster. I would hang that up.

Your bagels look great! What recipe did you use?

(Candy Lind) #5578

Your plates always look so beautiful. You should be a food stylist!

(Candy Lind) #5579

Sounds amazing! Do you have a recipe posted (or a video)?

OMAD today

(Sophie) #5581

I picked up a #2 bag of garlic bulbs for a 5 spot this morning at my Sam’s Club.
Most of this will go to my farmer friend that gives me fresh eggs. It’s how I Keto.

(Jay AM) #5582

24 oz prime rib and double portion of broccoli. I definitely didn’t eat the whole thing but, don’t think I didn’t think about it.

(Ellen) #5583

If your farmer friend doesn’t want them all I’ll have some

(Sophie) #5584

I take every single egg she gives me, can you blame me? And in return, I save all of my egg cartons for her and give her homemade vanilla extract, roasted garlic, roasted pecans, a smattering of old fat clothes and I make stuff for her like an egg gathering apron and lavender soap etc . We’re a mutual admiration society! It’s how we roll.

(Ellen) #5585

Damn! If you fancy moving to England I’'ll be your neighbour!

(Sophie) #5586

I’d Love to move to England. It’d make this lifetime experience complete for me!
