Meal 1 - 500g (1lb) pork mince (ground) fried in 4 decent dollops of duck fat + lots of salt. Meal 2 - very lazy ZC dinner, 2 tins of sardines topped with 1 jar of anchovies in olive oil. Not the prettiest meal but pretty tasty.

First meal was deviled eggs with a bit of cayenne pepper and curry powder topped with smoked paprika and an espresso. Second meal was sausage egg roll in a bowl (substituted kale slaw for coleslaw - much better) and a few raspberries and unsweetened whipped cream.

This is my spatchcocked chicken. Fresh herb compound butter under the skin on the breast. This was the juiciest most delicious chicken with awesome crispy skin.

I was upset to find the same thing, unfortunately, at a Wendy’s in the Dallas area last time I was there. :frowning: Talk about irritating. I mean, I wasn’t gonna eat all 4 of them at once, but why would I pay for three things I can’t have just to get one burger? Ugh.

they’re probably just being cheap. I’m surprised they haven’t charged me extra for it yet. my Starbucks has it and will give it after giving me strange looks.

What’s Flat White?. . .Warning, danger, it’s an addictive and heavenly Espresso drink:laughing:! Yes, it’s a Starbucks drink but I have been able to order flat Whites in many coffee shops. The trick is to make sure they have HWC on hand as I’ve sadly discovered not all coffee shops do.

I just made Fathead Pizza last night for the first time… OMG!!! it was soooo good. Going to be a staple in my diet going forward. easy to make and some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while.

Pickled egg. I hard boiled, peeled and dropped in an empty pickle jar 3 days ago. Needs more time.

Smoked beef brisket from local meat market. It’s pretty much beef bacon. So damn good. Shown before and after the cream cheese addition.

I think it’s very smart to ask for HWC flat white from Starbucks. It sends the message to management what the customer demand is. Companies pay through the nose for market research…they are getting it for free!
