This email notification did prompt me to look at the relative nutritional info. And I’m surprised.

This is my favourite dinner after a busy shift


Roasted cauliflower, courgette, red pepper and a random couple of frankfurters with a baked camembert. Plenty of garlic salt and chilli flakes.

Celebrating the end of a 72 hour fast, I made meatcakes. (Meatcakes are my new cupcakes. The “frosting” is Swiss cheese.)
Ground beef, eggs, a little shredded mozz, and salt.

Tuesday OMAD:

about 7 eggs (cooked a dozen but share with my daughter), 1 slice Hoghead cheese, 3 sausages (not all 5), 1 serving Cottage Cheese (not pictured)

Roasted courgette, yellow pepper and frankfurter baked with taleggio cheese (AKA instant cheese sauce).

Chicken Dijon: chicken thigh fillets, mushrooms, dried onions, butter, mustard, creme fraiche, S&P, served with a shredded cabbage/leek combo, sprouts and some mashed fauxtato… #brassicaoverload :+1::yum::eyes:

Forgot to take a picture- d’oh!

But I mad some pancakes with almond flour, almond milk, eggs and vanilla extract. Some bacon on the side. Butter over the pancakes, and low carb, low calorie syrup over it all.

Was delicious.

I started food weighing today and the whole thing was as follows:

Calories- 398
Fat- 10
Carbs- 2.6
Protien- 18.6

I’d say thats pretty good going!

Wednesday OMAD:

1lb of a 3lb chuck roast cooked in the Ninja Foodi (High Pressure) w/ dripping “gravy”. 1 slice of hog head cheese** and 1 sausage (from my egg dinner a couple of days ago).

I seared all sides of the roast, used 16oz of bone broth, and a little seasoning. Cooked on high pressure for 70 minutes with a 20-minute natural pressure release. Took the drippings (and bone broth) and added just a little xanthan gum and made a “gravy”.

** Side note, I took some beef short ribs and made my own “meat cheese”. I will get to test it tonight.
