What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!

Wow you get such outstanding pork in the UK, look at your fat cap trimmed by a butcher. A few years back I worked with the Canadian pork board promoting and cooking Berkshire pork for our pork producers. Over here we have bred all the fat out of our pork to the point that they renamed it ‘the other white meat’. It still hasn’t recovered because low fat is still apparently king

It was jolly nice - I’m glad you’re impressed! I do my grocery shopping online and these ribs were an impulse buy at the last stage of checking out - they were half price - I don’t buy pork very often (unless it’s in the format of bacon, sliced ham or sausages, or mince for meatloaf and Scotch eggs) but tonight’s delicious supper has made me add some to next week’s shopping list already!

Pre-keto I would sometimes buy and cook trimmed pork loin - but hey, where’s the fun in that? It’s ribs and belly for me now!

When I was a kid we kept pigs (and other livestock) for meat. My parents used to do the greatest crackling!

Went right over my head, I figured it was something British. I thought Jax meant she’d sweep up the sooty mess! :joy::joy::grin::cowboy_hat_face:

I’m so sorry. I hope she is comfortable and gets to enjoy at least a little of your fish pie.

Well, if I did, at least I would be able to make that fit proper. … But though most of my clothes are definitely loose/r, I think I will only need to pick up some new pants, since the upper, outer-wear has some built in elastic for specifically bow hunting, so it does fit somewhat still or enough to work. … But shooting the bow? Man, that showed me something I already figured, but man, what a surprise still. It’s been three years, but you’d be surprised how much not using those muscles (In that way) shows.

Almost forgot to post… Came back upstairs from being in the basement, and the Wife made ground Hamburger, so ate some in a bowl with some No-Sugar Ketchup. Also had Pickles, Olives, Cheese, Pepperoni & Hard Salami. Then Greek Yogurt with Black Berries & 2 Squares Lindt’s Dark Chocolate.

Aww good old Soo! How could I forget about her! :joy: might have to dig an episode out- see what my daughter thinks of it!:rofl:

Filet Mignon steak and cauliflower rice with peppers and quite a few other veggies. It has vinegar in it, which I thought did a good job of masking the taste of the cauliflower
