Hey look! I have a new frock! Thanks @Digital_Dave😊
What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
So nice to have something easy to get the butter and marmite from the plate to my mouth😂
I’m having difficulties getting my quantities right for my chaffles and they seem to take so long. Do those really have nothing other than egg and cream? And is that one egg for all of them or one for each? They look absolutely scrumptious.
Well, when I read the reviews of this waffle maker some people complained that the waffles were too thin, but I quite like that as they are crispy, and not too eggy. I haven’t had the willpower to see how they hold up for next day, say for a sandwich.
Some of the chaffles I see look quite thick and substantial so I am guessing they would all be different. The key seems to be not to over fill otherwise it bursts out!
I just made these, 1 egg a spoonful of cream cheese, erythritol and cocoa powder. Then cream sandwiched in! I really should have let them cool down a bit.
These didn’t crisp up, but they were quite nice.
Ps, I read one post that said wait until the steam stops and they are done!
Well, I think it’s a bit trial and error. Good luck and don’t forget the pics!
This is what I do too! Mind you I was very impatient at lunchtime and released them while they were still steaming - still great!
I’m going to attempt chaffle ‘drop scones’ tonight…wish me luck!
That is so neat, Clare, please tell us how it goes and the recipe/directions you did after so we can try too!
I hope that you are feeling better as well.
Right well!!! As you can see my fried chaffles experiment went well!!
I think I’m just gonna save myself any future embarrassment and order myself a waffle maker!!
Its a nice wee omelette!
Sorry I feel like I encouraged you to do it +😶
Very nice fish pie. Suitably clothed (!).
I’m feeling sad today, I have a friend who is in the hospice, 30 years old, lung cancer (never smoked) with brain secondaries. Yesterday was meant to be her 1 year survival party, but her cancer returned with a vengence.
When she was first diagnosed I gently spoke to her about keto and gave her a link. She said that her treatment was going well and food was her greatest comfort. She said she would consider it if things got worse. They did and I broached it again. She said her Dr told her her brain needed sugar and I cried inside.
I saw her at the hospice yesterday and asked her if there was anything She wanted. She said “one of your fish pies”!. I took one today but was told she was having a quiet family only day. I may never see her again. I hope she is well enough to enjoy it!
I’ve been hanging out with you guys this pm. Thanks.

Awww =(( I am so sorry, Jackie, that is so difficult =((.
Wow, how on earth could a doctor say that, or even think it?? =(( That is horrid.
I am so sorry for your friend, and all her family, and friends (epecially you of course) that is very sad =(.
Thanks Mom. She has the most adorable 4 year old son.
It’s what Drs think, they are ill informed.
