Broke a 27hr fast with my new favorite meal. Sausage patty’s with habanero cheese. 1600 calories Fat 81% Protein 16% Carbs 3% Not to shabby for a omad!

Have a rare day off totally to myself today! Pure bliss.
Started by cooking some lamb shanks. Two for me, 2 for mum! Gotta keep her out of the ready meal aisle!!


For lunch I picked at the extra bones I used for my stock! Loads of meat! Delicious :yum:

After my 5k run, for my OMAD I had ground beef and a Kiolbassa.

You can’t really tell because of the angle but that container was mounded. That was a little over 2 lbs of meat and I ate a little more than half (plus 1/2 the drippings** … nothing went to waste) and was full.

** That’s 70/30 and I pour back ALL the cook out fat and eat it with the meat so I am getting the full 30% fat (or as close as possible aside from raw (which I have been know to do :wink: ))

Chicken Tenders (KetoConnect) topped with a little Franks Redhot Buffalo Wing sauce, Garlic Parm Bacon Knots (Delish), and a quick cabbage slaw with oil and vinegar vinaigrette.

Not been feeling well at all…had a reaction to TwoGood yogurt, was hyper focused on blood sugar/insulin reaction and ignored my way to a second reaction from the tapioca starch in it - guess I can add tapioca/cassava to my growing list :expressionless: Concentrating on simple stuff again…eggs, meat, vitamin D again as it’s low and I think responsible for wave 2 of hair loss (getting plenty of protein and fat).

Torturing myself reading through the last couple of days while attempting my first 48hr fast! On 29hrs and feeling ok, previous best was 26hrs so happy enough…
so…my intake is water, black coffee and peppermint tea, sadly not as fab as most of what has gone before so no photos! :joy:

And some pepperonata

And for dinner I had …

Seabass, pepperonata and crispy kale!
And look… half a bottle of wine for the lamb shanks, half a bottle for the casserole, and a glass left over!:joy::joy::joy::yum:

Glad I had this plateful in the morning today, as I got called out unexpectedly at lunch time, and I will not make it home in time to cook the pork roast I had planned for dinner :frowning: Looks like I will be here a while :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
