Season with salt and pepper. Ghee in cast iron, slap liver in, cook to internal 145 degrees internal temp.

What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
Hamburger patty with a slice of Havarti cheese, Black Krim tomato from the garden and last year’s dill pickles I put up.
Found a few green and yellow beans in the garden hidden among the weeds (I thought they were done and stopped weeding weeks ago. I gave hubby most of them. Steamed and tossed in butter.
And Houlimi.
Dinner… Pickles, Olives, Cheese, Cauliflower, Deviled Eggs, Chicken and Steak. … Also 2 Squares of Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate and some Pecans. Then Almond Milk, Coconut Bai and a few glasses of Tea. Working and sweating all day, so I’m a bit on the thirsty side tonight.
What a shame that’s rotten business. Although your steak and kidney with crème fraîche looked wonderful
Dinner
I have a friend that raises cattle, not many. She doesn’t like heart or liver and so I was the beneficiary.
So here’s dinner. Everything was cooked in leftover bacon grease. I cooked my husband’s first and it had flour on it. Unfortunately the flour was causing some blackening in my bacon juice.
Leftover cauliflower rice with lemon and cumin, Sautéed onions, salad with full fat cottage cheese, and a pickle just for pickle Dave.
There’s a weird hole in my liver!?!?
FYI I saved the pickle juice for fasting. These were the last pickles in that jar.
Salty vinegar
Here’s my dinner. I was inspired by someone else and splurged on 5 whopper patties. I melted some pepper jack cheese on them and added some mayo, onions and some pickles. If I had added all the pickles they gave me, you wouldn’t be able to see the burgers. Don’t worry, they’ll be eaten.
Bottom round roast. SV’d for 24 hrs @ 135 degrees. Then cold smoked for 3 hrs.
Came out rediculous tender… No knife needed. But closer to medium than medium rare… Next time 131 for 20 hours.
Oh, and a side of creamy Brussels with bacon. Didn’t look too pretty, but tasted really good

We got home from camping and I immediately went to work washing and cleaning and storing, etc. So, look what my husband made me for dinner! Usually, I would just slice the zucchini. Because I’m lazy. And because it tastes the same. But you know what? No, it doesn’t! Those zucchini noodles he made me held on to that meat sauce so beautifully and the texture was so much better! He’s a good guy, that one.
I’m a notorious yolk breaker… and have been known to keep frying another egg and another… until I finally have another unbroken one.
My kid loves eggs… he is usually the beneficiary of my broken egg string… hah!
Darn OCD…
you will have to use your imagination for my meals yesterday as I missed BOTH pictures. (still sick so not 100%).
