Nah, that takes the fun out of it, back home I’d grab a bag out of the freezer and wonder if I was going to have stew, curry or soup.
What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
I just made these patties with turkey thigh mince, spices and an egg. I took it out of the freezer days ago and needed to use it so just improvised.
Ooooh I’ve got some pork mince taking up space in the freezer - you’ve just inspired me!
@KetoSnaps they work well topped with guacamole and fried egg too, cheese and sour cream if you’re doing dairy
Ooooooh perfect timing - need to get some bits in town later so I’ve just added avocados to my list!
Due to my broken tooth☹ I just took to work some cream cheese with Frank’s extra hot sauce and an avocado!
All dreams of leftover pulled pork faded into a painful distance! In fact I just put the remainder of the pork shank into a bag with the leftover gravy and slung it in the freezer. I’m thinking pork shank and cabbage soup in the instant pot! When I have had my tooth fixed of course! I hate dentists!
Actually I love mine
Depends on what I have on hand and my mood… I tend to exsperiment a bit and not follow recipes so well (measurements… are just suggestions… )
But for the one above…
Cooked the chanterelles with garlic, salt and about 1/4 cup butter. Once cooked and liquid dispersed, stirred in the chopped herbs gave a minute to soften then added a swirl of double cream (maybe 1/4 cup?) give a stir and simmer on low for another 2 minutes or so. Just long enough to thicken up .
My day yesterday.
My bulletproof coffee. 10am
Omad meal. Pan fried kebabs with melted cheese flats. (Kebabs tasted brilliant! Ask for recipe
Most definitely! I would have to bend over and sip some down a bit before I even attempted to pick that up!
After yesterdays dentalgate scandal, I was very hungry today! This is my first attempt at a taco omlette!
Some left over ragu chillied up! Plenty of vintage cheddar and a good dollop of creme fraiche!
It looked a little sloppy on the plate but it was so delicious!
When I lose all my teeth, I’m just going to eat this😋
Kobeda Kebabs
500 grams lamb or beef or chicken mince
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 Cup Grated Onion. Do not drain water!
1 Tsp Garlic Paste
2 Tsp Ginger Paste
2 Tsp Crushed Pepper
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Tumeric
2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp Garam Masala
1 1/2 Tbsp Corn Flour
-
Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix by hand. Mix well to combine all ingredients!
-
Take a large non stick flat frying pan, (roughly 28-32cm), grease with your chosen oil, transfer the mince to this and flatten! Flatten so the mince is nearing the sides. Kinda like a huge burger patty. Drizzle your oil of choice all the way around the patty.
-
After a few mins it will start to sizzle. Use a spatula to cut into long strips. About 2 inches wide. After another few mins turn the strips over and cook the other side.
-
Cook both sides for around 3-4 mins each. Then cover and cook for another 3-4 mins. Once both sides are nice and brown it’s ready!
-
Serve with your choice of dip. I recommend a nice cool mint and yogurt chutney!
This is my first ever time posting a recipe. Be nice guys and if you do try it, please let me know how it turns out!
Went to a Reunion of Friends I grew up with last night, and had a blast. Hadn’t seen most of them in 35 or so years. Only ate some of the Keto-Friendly stuff… Deviled Eggs (Disappeared from plate before the camera came out) Cherry Tomatoes, Pickle, Cheeses, Pepperoni, Hard Salami, Roast Beef and some pulled Pork my wife made.
Mid-day meal today, just wanted something quick and easy, so just threw together a Pizza-Omelet. Just mixed up some Eggs with Almond Flour and Oregano, fried that up. Then added some Rao’s Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese and Pepperoni. … Was pretty good to me. Also had a few Pecans, 2 Squares Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate and Almond Milk.
Thank you. This looks brilliant except for this, which is 10.5g carbs! I’m sure there is an alternative. Maybe milled flaxseeds?
Fabulous though, I will definitely try it😊
Sorry you are right! It is abit on the high side. I used 1tbsp. Still high but I kinda get away with it on omad. Milled flaxseeds, chia seeds or almond flour would work. They would all work as binders. I’m going to try with almond flour next time
