Yes, they are indeed processed, but overall really not all that bad. And way better then eating any type of snacky foods. I mean, whole foods are always better of course, but I don’t have any issues with eating processed meats here and there and it has worked quite well and I haven’t noticed any issues in my 14+ months with this WOE/WOL. … I mostly get stuff like Hard Salami, Cooked Ham, Roast Beef, etc. But I don’t do any of those that have way more added sugars, such as Honey Glazed, Maple Flavored, etc. These I don’t fool with, since they are higher carb, but also not a fan of sugary meats.
And rolling up some Meats and Cheeses, not only makes for a simple meal, but quite tasty. It’s always been a favorite of mine. That, or laying some out and baking in the oven.
Actually left out for work this morning, only to be turned around by some bad accidents and downed trees from the on-going storm… So after a while, just headed back and took the day off. But also stopped by the grocery store. … Fried Eggs, Salami-Egg Poppers, Fried Spam, Sausage Links, Bacon. Also had a glass of Almond Milk, 2 Squares of Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate and a few Pecan’s.

I really hope that your mom will be feeling better soon and that the pain goes away, the poor dear =(. I am sure that your darling little Cady is concerned about her nan as well. Big hugs to you all =).
The other night, I cooked myself a birthday steak
- Cocktail shrimp (I didn’t use that sauce)
- Collard greens w/ ham
- Ribeye cap steak with blue cheese (Sous vide @ 133 for 2 hours, braised in the cast iron with butter and thyme)
- Butter cake w/ whipped cream (Keto Friendly, not shown)
- Bourbon, b/c, you know, birthday!
