What Did You Keto Today? Part IV

food

Haha… Actually been asking myself that very same question since she brought them home. I usually do Chicken Gizzards a few ways, either putting them in a slow cooker overnight and making up a sauce, etc. Or sometimes just fry them up, since I do like them chewy as well. … I have a pack set out for today, so think I will maybe slow cook them for a few hours and whip up a sauce for them.

Last night’s meal since the site went down and I couldn’t post… Top Sirloin, Mushrooms, Cheese, Pepperoni and Cauliflower.

Hi Karen. Glad this recipe appeals to you. This was the recipe I used for directions:

I was talking to my girlfriend this morning and her SO suggested adding some Canadian bacon to it. I’m going to try that by layering a slice of it between the cheese on the bottom and the egg on top of it. I am also going to pay better attention to it while it’s in the oven so that I don’t over cook the egg.

My Son said he was hungry, so I decided to make us both a Ham, Hard Salami and Cheese (Cheddar & Swiss) Omelette also with some Mayo, Mustard and a little Egg-Foo-Young Sauce I had leftover.

For lunch I had some fried halloumi

Then I got a call to say my Covid19 swab was negative! Yayy. Apparenly a few people with a cold! So I went out for a walk. Blimey, it was like the whole world was on the seafront!
For dinner I finished the Ragu, with cheese :yum:

I WISH my local Walmart carried this!!! I ordered it off Amazon - 3 jars for $22. Ouch. Hope I like it ‘cause I’m getting 3 jars of it

Delicious! #guaranteed

I quite enjoy the changed texture - plus anything that tastes of pickles is always a good thing (especially when it’s in conjunction with my favourite food - eggs)!

So relieved - that’s brilliant!

We had extra bacon for breakfast this morning - but not just so I could have a double ration of bacon fat drizzled over my scrambled eggs, honest… Lunch was smoked mackerel/mustard/lemon/cream cheese pate on chaffles with coleslaw and salad - very filling but delicious! Made enough of everything for lunch tomorrow as well - looking forward to it already.

I shopped a little different today. Rang the butchers and placed an order, then went and picked it up! Easy peasy! Turns out he sells eggs, cheese and locally grown veg! Aww if only he did butter and cream, I would be sorted!
He had a big broccoli, courgette, and some chillies that I turned into a soup with a few odds and ends I had, including a lime. I made this one with coconut oil and a tin of coconut milk.

30 minutes in the Instant Pot

Souper douper! :yum:
I have also made an egg mayo chaffinch to take to Mum’s tomorrow!

We had a bunch of severe storms roll through about midnight last night, and we lost power. It was still out this morning. I was just about to wake Wayne up and have him go get coffee, when it came back on. I’d been thinking about bacon and eggs (on the gas stove) for close to an hour, and finally the voices got to me. I tucked in a small serving of leftover green beans. I should be good for the day!

Netrition would be cheaper. Even with the $6.99 shipping charge:

https://pool.netrition.com/g-hughes-smokehouse-sugar-free-dipping-sauce.html

I do an order with Netrition once or twice a year, when I get my cart up over $99, for the free shipping.

I love geocaching! Although I am very much a novice.

Yes, it’s nice and by choice I only like a tiny bit of sauce with my meat.
@Janie I have found it at other regular grocery stores pretty common around here… hmm, but perhaps Walmart is your only grocery store. so not helpful!

awesome!
