I will remember this method… I know close to nothing about making any meat, we usually make stew, I usually try to fry out of the hell of everything but I start to be more careful… I like liver, I guess but I never ate beef liver, I am curious.

I just can’t get beef liver since I try to. The farm where I buy my beef from stopped selling liver when I started to flirt with carnivore (they still had it when I ordered the first time but they run out of it too quickly so I got none).
But one day I will be successful and do this. Liver, cream and well, not bacon but my usual smoked pork? Nothing can possibly go wrong with that.

So, what IS hank??? I couldn’t figure it out either. I finally stopped being super lazy so I know what kerfuffle (I’ve heard that before) and yonks mean now.
And I have a disadvantage as I don’t even know every pretty well-known English words, I only use the language since a few decades but never in a native environment irl… I still find unknown words everywhere and expressing myself isn’t always easy.
But I never mind interesting words :slight_smile: Scottish words from Harry Potter fanfics, slang from everywhere… I like languages and their creative use.

Dinner… Simple Hamburger with Colby and Provolone and 2 Knockwurst. Also had a Cream Zevia and a few bottle of Tea. Plus .5 oz. (18-20) Almonds and 2 squares Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate.

It will be even nicer here. Food and language stuff, two of my fav topics… And now I make photos too, I stopped doing that for too many years… My nature photos are better though, food is harder especially if the pic is busy. But they needn’t to be as pretty as a flower pic anyway :wink:

OH. MY. GOD!!! I am finding it difficult not to drool on my phone, the gravy for this pot roast came out SO! FREAKING! GOOD! It’s going to be hard to top. I roasted the radishes and celery separately because I wanted to get a little char around the edges. Everything else was sautéed, seared & slow roasted in one pan and it is a MASTERPIECE. I’m thoroughly chuffed. And I have finally figured out that conjac (glucomannan) powder is the way to go for thickening, at least for me. Wonder bread Chaffle to sop up what I don’t slurp out with the meat & veg.

Monday OMAD (with a little snacking after my run):

Snack - Sprouted Pumpkin seeds

Dinner:

19oz Steak and Sautéed spinach. It was actually what was left from my wife’s big salad container. She said it was getting to “soggy” for her, so I sautéed it up … Bacon, cheese, eggs and all (no dressing).

I’m with you. I use it pretty consistently. I also put it in my chaffles to give them more heft.

I use beef gelatin powder. To thicken anything, and yes, in chaffles. It has no flavor, thickens nicely, and has all that healthy collagen to boot. @CandyLindTX Now you’ve done it. I need a roast!

I was chased out of the garden by a much needed shower of rain so I’m having a 2pm lunch, which will my OMAD for today.

Kale & zucchini fried with hot sopresso salami, topped with cherry tomatoes, fried haloumi and avocado. Dressed with EVOO and lemon juice. I love this WOE. :heart:

I mentioned it in an earlier post … but it probably got lost in the picture. :rofl:

I noticed my weight loss had stalled … wasn’t really gaining or losing. Have been doing Carnivore for over a year, I decided to shake things up for a while and add back SOME veggies. I am still meat heavy, but just wanting to keep things shook up.
