What Did You Keto Today? Part IV
@David_Stilley Kerfuffle and yonks, we jse those words all the time in Australia too.
So, salmon and shrimp have always been favorites. But - for some reason, I now crave - liver. What? So I marinated beef liver in cream, fried it up with bacon, and added some asparagus. It hit the spot perfectly. The bacon/liver flavors blend perfectly, and marinating it in cream changes the texture from dry to moist. It’s a winner, and I do think my body is telling me it likes all the nutrition in liver. Very satisfying. I went for seconds. I do think I need to watch my portions more though. OMAD does tend to make me want to eat much bigger meals.
So, last time I made hamburgers I was a teenager. So twenty-something years ago. I remember it being easier. But as the second two came out much better, I think heating up the pan must be important after all.
After a long walk on the Downs, I was totally Hank! So made my favourite salad,
Piri piri chicken, avocado, crispy panchetta and egg! Jolly good

Alright, I used the Oxford dictionary and thesaurus and basically a bundle of yarn? You’re trying to trick me! I gather tired or hungry from the context.
Ooooh you’re GOOD! #londonlass
No food to show you tonight on #BritishHour, but to show willing, here’s a snap of my latest cup of Rosie…
Blimey @David_Stilley you must think we’re all stark, raving bonkers!
Oh, you, it’s just a bad shot in bad light of a simple egg and meat meal!
I plan to do some fancier things one day but I am perfectly content with my current food now. I usually have this with carnivore, it’s so satisfying, I only collect recipes and plan things because it’s my hobby and fun. And I think they will be quite useful one day. Not yet.
Leftover and more for today! With my usual focus problems, I can’t even decide what would be best but the above shot looked so bland… More informative though.
Foreground: half pancake filled with my spicy beef with sour cream (I added more sour cream later), a piece of herring, leftover devileg eggs with sausage slices.
In the background, nothing special just some 3 scrambled eggs with cheesy and a pickled egg but I have a better pic of it using my favorite plate (the flowery ones are originally for sweet stuff but if I almost never eat such ones, they happen to hold my carni food too sometimes):
This time I messed with the plan differently. I ate it all and became pretty hungry (I am almost never hungry when I sit down to eat. maybe very slightly) so I ate 5 more pancakes, some eggs, sour cream, smoked pork… And figured out that an inevitably long nap can totally happen on a carni day.
The green stuff is quite spicy and I couldn’t make a photo without something green on my plate anyway. But I take this “no vegetables for a while” think seriously I usually allow some on my carnivore-ish days but I don’t exactly need them so I do without them for a little while.
Nah, I’m pretty used to the Brits and Aussies too! You’re a fun bunch…most of you!
