I find that following a day of particularly hard labor in the yard, I wake up starving. If I wake up with muscle fatigue from yesterday’s activities, gut rumbling hunger is soon to follow, every time. Lucky for me that there’s no quicker way from famished to satiated than bacon and eggs. I threw in some cheese, kale and bell pepper too. Back to the grind!

Got around to that turkey I roasted the other day. I took the pan juices, added minced onion, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, chicken broth and conjac powder and let it thicken up for a while.:drooling_face::drooling_face:

Without going into too much detail I’ve been a bit of a cow today and I’m not even sorry :joy: I’m constantly hungry and I can’t stay away from the fridge :joy: no point in tracking anything today!
Tonight’s dinner is called ‘can’t be arsed’ cheesy scrambled eggs and left over burgers! :+1:

Perfect combo!

Love this pic! Xx

It’s a really good thing this doesn’t come in large cartons. I am limiting myself to 1/2 pint (236 ml) per day with some difficulty. It is too good!

Cheese Omelette with Bacon

Three Egg Rolled Omelette with Compté Cheese (essentially French Gruyère) and Sour Cream. YUM!

Sending bacon-scented hugs, lovely @ClareBear!

HAD to revisit last week’s quiche experience - this time it’s got bacon in it rather than ham - but cheese, eggs, cream, butter and onion all the same as last time. Absolutely smashing served slightly wobbling and piping hot - the rest we’ll have cold with salad for supper tomorrow.

Indeed it is!

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face: I hope your day gets better :kissing_heart:

Trauma!:sunglasses:

I must do this! I make mini ones in a muffin tin but I like the quivering idea!. I use Mary Berry quiche filling recipe. I also do them with poached salmon and asparagus. No cheese but extra cream :yum:

That is the orangest yolk I have ever seen!
Nice grill marks too… yum

Dinner… Couple Burgers with Mushrooms, Pickled Sausage, Cheese, Hard Salami, Olives, Pickles and Greek Yogurt with Strawberries. Also had a Grape Zevia.

Egg and cream - a super vehicle for salmon and asparagus! Mum used to make a beautifully-textured quiche that was just eggs and milk (smallholding, often milk and eggs that needed using in a hurry) which I always loved. The (albeit crustless) one I’m obsessed with at the moment is similar to what we used to call ‘eggy cheesy pie’ when I was little!

T-bone, medium, topped with garlic herb butter, and bacon broccoli salad on the side. Today was finally sunny enough for me to break out my sun tea pitcher, too!

The meat juices are the best part!
