Dinner… 2-1/2 Quarter Pound Hotdogs with Chili & Cheese. Smoked Vienna’s and some Greek Yogurt with Strawberries. Also had 2 squares Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate.

Sesame muffins (cheese sesame buns in my muffin mold. If it’s muffin shaped, it’s a muffin to me), I baked them for my SO but I tasted them too. Yep, not nearly enough eggy for me… Even my old sesame muffins were eggier and now I pretty much ignore oily seeds.

Quiche muffins :stuck_out_tongue: Aren’t they pretty? :smiley: Especially the closer one.

So, I made quiche and it won’t be the last one in this week. I made a half portion to try this dish and even used a bit less cream… We had only 5-5- such muffins, it was very little food, enough for my SO with lots of carbs between soup and dessert, not enough for me for a main dish… It was a hit, we both like it. It’s sooo good when I find a not very meaty dish (I put some smoked pork into it but that’s optional too) we both happily eat. My SO with his bigger energy need and aversion to frequent meat eating and high-carb diet and me with whatever diet I have, it’s always low-carb and not rich in vegetables. The muffins contain some carrot (it’s very nice with butter and rosemary) and brussel sprouts, we have no onions now, I put a little onion powder in the dough. The next one will contain spargels, hopefully, we went shopping after 5 weeks and forgot. And if I want them without vegetables or my SO wants them without meat, I just arrange the extra stuff accordingly. I can make 12 big muffins in my muffin mold. I think about adding egg yolks to make them more substantial and eggier… Never a bad idea for me.

Replying to beccs’ post 14 days ago - about a Big Mac Casserole.

I made one tonight - wife loved it, and I agree with her.
I used this version:

I used thousand island dressing by Primal Kitchen. And about 2-3 tbsp. of somewhat reduced meat broth instead of the chicken bouillon. Otherwise, pretty close to the recipe. Drizzlied some dressing on top after serving it.

I found some so-called Keto recipes saying to drain the ‘excess’ meat juices after pan frying the beef. I think they’re missing the point!

A civilized lunch! Mussels with 'wholemeal! Bread! Well a chaffle actually made with some milled flaxseed and some sesame seeds! Made a nice change!

The make up company I buy from is texting me on the daily. I feel kind of bad- small start up that might not survive but I’ve put slap on my face on two of the last 30 days. What’s the point? Also, I could just be rationalizing to protect the ol’ ego, but I could swear my complexion has improved and I’m kind of digging the gray hairs.

Mine too. What little of my own I have left are blonde, so it’s weird looking at myself in the mirror. My eyes look like beady little things.

Keto bread. Reduced flaxseed meal to 1/3 cup and added 2/3 cup oats. Getting pretty dang close to real bread. The oats added 2 net carbs per slice.
